Bachelor Arie Luyendyk, Jr claims he’s finally ready to settle down, but it may not be with the girl who gets his final rose.

One week after Arie made his debut as the Bachelor, fans are already buzzing about who will get his final rose. Arie recently revealed to People that he fell in love with two girls, but he’s “very happy” and “wouldn’t have changed anything.”

Although Arie hasn’t confirmed that he got engaged, spoilers reveal that, despite a last-minute visit from one girl’s ex-boyfriend, the 36-year-old race car driver did propose during the finale that was filmed in November.

Happily ever after — or not?

When the season finale airs in March, there is no doubt that Arie will say he’s totally in love and ready to walk down the aisle with the girl he picked. However, once the cameras stop rolling and Arie is out of the spotlight, fans may see yet another Bachelor breakup.

At least that’s what blogger Reality Steve predicts, stating in a recent blog post that he feels “sorry” for the girl Arie picked.

I feel sorry for her, not him. He’s not marrying anyone from this show,” Steve writes. “That’s not why he did it. His reputation precedes him. I don’t think all the sudden he’s changed because of this. In fact, I pretty much know it. But hey, what do I know, right?”

And that reputation Steve refers to? Apparently, he dumped his most recent girlfriend, Sydney Stempfley, shortly before he started filming the Bachelor.

She threw him some shade on Twitter around the time he was picked, tweeting, “The show would be perfect for @arieljr up until it comes to choosing just one.”

More from Accept This Rose

Us Weekly reports that Arie was casually dating former Bachelor contestant, Courtney Robertson, a few months before he started handing out roses, implying that he was dating two girls at once.

Will Arie will finally settle down and stick with the girl he picked when the final rose ceremony was filmed in Peru?

Reality Steve doesn’t think so. And we’re a little skeptical in light of the news that his final pick got a visit from her ex right before the final rose ceremony.

Spoilers reveal that he ex proposed (spoiler in link) and, although she turned him down, it’s possible she’s also looking for her five minutes of fame.

We shall see how this all plays out after the season ends in March.

Watch The Bachelor on Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
