Josh Murray’s mom throws shade at Amanda Stanton for dating another ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ star

Amanda Stanton and Josh Murray broke up months ago but Josh’s mom continues throw shade. This time it’s about Amanda’s new Bachelor in Paradise boyfriend.

Just when you thought Mama Murray had nothing left to say about Bachelor in Paradise star Amanda Stanton — she’s back! More than six months have passed since Amanda and Josh broke up, but Josh’s mother has returned to social media to slam the single mom for dating one of her Paradise season 3 co-stars.

Most fans know the story about Josh and Amanda’s split. Shortly after it happened, Amanda’s friends, twins Emily and Haley Ferguson, spoke out on Twitter about Josh being “emotionally and verbally abusive.” Amanda didn’t deny her friends’ claims, telling E! News Josh is “the worst.” The whole situation blew up, Josh’s mom got in on it, and then it died down. Until now.

Mama Murray has returned to social media with a few words about Amanda’s new relationship. Or it’s someone who is playing the part of Lauren Murray — we’re not quite sure, but Amanda states that Josh’s mother makes “fake accounts” to troll her, so there’s that. Here’s what we know.

Last week, Amanda tweeted a rather veiled reference about social media trolls. It didn’t take long for fans to assume she was talking about Josh Murray’s mother, Lauren Murray.

Murray’s comments (or someone who pretends to be Josh’s mother) started on Instagram and Amanda didn’t waste any time getting into a comment war on Instagram with Lauren.

Let’s take a look…

Prior to her tweet, it appears that Amanda was tagged in an Instagram pic posted by a Bachelor fan account, The Bachelor Bruhhh. (image below) It’s a parody account — posts include Photoshopped pics and semi-humorous comments about the Bachelor franchise.

One image (below) on the Bachelor Bruhhh Instagram account shows what appears to be Amanda kissing Robby Hayes. It’s a photoshopped pic with JoJo Fletcher’s head removed (ouch) and replaced with what some fans thought was Amanda’s head. It’s actually Leah Block. Bizarre.

It’s important to note Amanda and is now dating her Bachelor in Paradise co-star, Robby Hayes. Of note — he is, or was, one of Josh Murray’s friends.

Here’s how the feud started

Lauren Murray (@11pic) initially commented on the post with a simple, “Wow” along with three smile emojis. Once Amanda caught wind of this, she called Lauren “psycho” and the comments started flying back and forth between the two.

In the end, Lauren made note of how “Bachelor nation sure is incestuous” — a dig at Amanda related to her current relationship with Robby.

I should have kept my thoughts to myself or just commented back to the person that forwarded the pic to me. I harbor no ill will towards Amanda or anyone. I wish her & her precious girls nothing but love & happiness. Life is just too short & too wonderful for any of us to spend in hate & bitterness. I’m sorry again & will not make this mistake again.

Will the feud continue?

When Josh and Amanda broke up, Bachelor Nation saw some of the fallout on social media. Now that she’s dating Robby Hayes, it appears that fans are in for more of the same, including a little shade from someone who may or may not be Josh Murray’s mom.

Bachelor in Paradise Season 4 premieres August 14 at 8 pm ET on ABC. The comments about Amanda started weeks before the show begins — time will tell if the social media trolling will continue.
