No ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ wedding for Carly and Evan: Cast leaves Mexico – ‘the show has been canceled’

Carly Waddell and Evan Bass were ready to tie the knot on Bachelor in Paradise until filming for the show came to a halt.

Fans have been waiting all year to watch Carly and Evan get married on Bachelor in Paradise. Now it looks like that may not be happening due to two Season 4 contestants getting drunk and stripping down on camera.

UPDATE: The wedding is ON! Get the details here.

Carly and Evan got engaged during the last season of Bachelor in Paradise. Taping for their wedding was set for next week on the Paradise set in Mexico. However, all of the contestants have departed Mexico, signaling that the season is over.

Although ABC hasn’t issued a statement yet, Reality Steve reports that contestants DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios are the center of the misconduct allegations.

On Sunday afternoon, word got out that production had been halted, just days after first round of contestants arrived in Mexico. Initial reports stated that there was “misconduct” on the set. By Sunday evening, Reality Steve tweeted photos that showed most of the Paradise cast leaving Mexico.

Paradise is canceled? Say it isn’t so!

“From I’ve been told, the show has been cancelled. They’re done. Everyone’s being sent home,” Steve tweeted. “DeMario and Corinne are the contestants in question. Details are still sketchy, but this is not a good situation. I’m not at liberty to throw accusations out. But yeah, drinking, sex, cameras, etc. You get the picture. ”

Will Carly and Evan still get married?

It’s unfortunate that some Paradise drama got in the way of their big day. Hopefully ABC will see fit to film their wedding in a different setting — perhaps a Carly and Evan wedding special? (Get an update on their wedding here.)
