Bachelor in Paradise Season 9 has officially announced their cast! On top of it all, the ever-so-cheesy intro video was also released along with it! We will review each cast mate from this season and what will make them succeed or fail in Paradise.

Mercedes (Zach’s Season)
Mercedes is a 25-year-old nonprofit case manager who isn’t ready to give up on love (in Bachelor Nation) just yet!
I liked her on Zach’s season, although I think she was boring. However, she can get multiple guys interested in her on Bachelor in Paradise Season 9. It will make for some dramatic episodes on Geometry Beach. Thoughts?
Blake (Clare & Tayshia’s Season)
Blake is a 33-year-old wildlife manager ready to take a shot at love in Bachelor in Paradise Season 9!
We all know and love Blake, am I right? How can you not love somebody who loves animals and the environment? We previously saw him on Clare and Tayshia’s season of The Bachelorette. He also ended up coming late into Katie Thurston’s season.
They ended up leaving the show happy together, but things didn’t work out. Some people may call him irrelevant, but I think he’s one of the franchise’s best contestants ever. Best of luck, Blake M., on Bachelor in Paradise Season 9!
Brooklyn (Zach’s Season)
Brooklyn is a 26-year-old rodeo racer ready to lasso in her one true love on Bachelor in Paradise Season 9! Oh, boy…
On Zach’s season of The Bachelor, people were trying to label her as ‘The Villain.’ However, I didn’t quite see her as that. I genuinely saw her as someone who had the best interest of the other girls around her. Sometimes, she was overbearing, but that’s an excellent quality for someone in Paradise. Hopefully, she can stir up some trouble this season…
Kylee (Zach’s Season)
Kylee is a 25-year-old postpartum nurse ready to find someone to help her balance her work and love life together!
She didn’t cause much trouble on Zach’s season and went home early. She snitched on somebody, though, so I can only imagine she might do something like this again while on Bachelor in Paradise Season 9. I hope she does well on the show because I liked her on Zach’s season. However, I see her going home during a super early rose ceremony.
Greer (Zach’s Season)
Greer is a 25-year-old Medical sales rep ready to redeem herself in Bachelor Nation!
As we all know, Greer word-vomited and ruined it for herself. She was awkward and said the wrong thing during one conversation with Zach. It didn’t help that she had to leave the show early due to an illness, and once she returned, Zach sent her packing. I did like her, and I think that she’ll do well on the show. I hope that she doesn’t ruin it for herself again…
Brayden (Charity’s Season)
Brayden is a 25-year-old travel nurse ready to find love…and some brand-new earrings!
It’s hard to forget Brayden, not just because of recency bias. He is one of those unforgettable characters in the franchise, probably one of the most unforgettable ever and will be.
I think that Brayden’s niceness was overlooked by some of the comments he made; however, I do think that some of the other guys provoked some of his remarks. Sure, his earrings are sometimes ridiculous, but let the dude express himself!
He was also lovely and kind towards Golden Gerry on The Men Tell All, which was nice. He even shed a few tears; for that, there’s proof that Brayden has a heart. I’m super excited and intrigued to see who, if anyone, he ends up with post-Paradise! I can see him vibing with Kat, Olivia, or maybe even Greer. Thoughts?
Kat (Zach’s Season)
Kat is a 27-year-old registered nurse ready to prove she’s not always the mean girl!
Kat was known as a villain in Zach’s season; however, she was also unsure of him meeting her family during a psychic/therapy-themed group date, ultimately sending her home. On a show like this, you’ve got to be ready for things at the snap of a finger, and I don’t think that back then was her time. But now’s the right time for her to find her person! Kat, I wish you the best of luck! I can’t wait to see your journey to find love play out on Bachelor in Paradise Season 9!
Will (Michelle’s Season)
Will is a 31-year-old academic interventionist here to prove he is still a relevant and available Bachelor!
We first saw Will on Michelle’s season of The Bachelorette, and while I remember his face, I don’t remember much else about him. I do think that he has the potential to either be a front-runner or the exact opposite and end up going home on night one. I don’t believe that he’ll be someone to float his way to the end with someone; it’s either yes or no, come or go. Hopefully, it works out for him…
Rachel (Clayton’s Season)
Rachel is a 27-year-old flight instructor ready to annoy us again and cry on the stairs!
If you can’t tell already, I’m not that much of a Rachel fan. However, I never want anyone to leave Paradise sad. I don’t think she’ll do all that well on the show because she didn’t seem to know what she wanted when it was her turn to shine as a co-lead on Season 19 of The Bachelorette. I can see her falling for the wrong guy on the show, who ends up seeing a new girl and ditching her. She seems to fall for the same types of guys, and that’s not always a good thing, am I right? Oh well…maybe this season (time) will be different!
Olivia (Zach’s Season)
Olivia is a 25-year-old patient care technician (PCT) ready for what the doctor ordered: LOVE!
Olivia didn’t stick around all that much or for very long on Zach’s season of The Bachelorette. To me, she was just another girl, just one of those girls that goes so far under the radar that she almost becomes irrelevant. I do wish her the best of luck at finding love, though! Love ya, girly!
Aaron S. (Charity’s Season)
Aaron S. is a 34-year-old firefighter who is ready for some love…very hot love, that is! Get it??
Aaron S. indeed went under the radar while on Charity’s season; however, I do think that he’s got a lot to offer and is ready to settle down and find his forever woman. He was always a great sport on group dates, although he never got his chance at a one-on-one date. I think that he’s going to surprise me this season.
I think that he might be someone who everyone else thinks will go home on night one but will be one of the only couples to leave engaged with someone. What are your thoughts on Aaron S.? Will he find his one true and forever love? Weigh in down below!
Eliza (Clayton’s Season)
Eliza is a 27-year-old marketing manager ready to make decisions this year…hopefully!
The last time we saw Eliza, she was breaking Rodney’s heart, getting into a limo, and chasing after Justin “Big Eyes” Glaze. It didn’t work out for her and either man because she’s back at the beach again. She was super indecisive and ultimately made the wrong decision anyway.
I wasn’t a big fan of hers, but I was happy for Rodney because he seemed to like this girl. I’d rather see Rodney in her place than Eliza, but as long as she doesn’t repeat what happened last season, we’re good, right?! What are your thoughts on Eliza?
Sam J. (Clayton’s Season)
Sam J. is a 28-year-old occupational therapist ready to leave the woodwork to find love again within Bachelor Nation!
If you don’t remember Sam J., she unfortunately was eliminated during week one, so we didn’t get to see enough of her on Season 26 (Clayton’s Season) of The Bachelor. She is super pretty, she’s got a successful lifestyle, and I’m hopefully here for the right reasons. Let’s hope she doesn’t use a guy’s career against them, much like Shanae and Kate unfairly did to Logan in Season 8…
Aaron B. (Charity’s Season)
Aaron B. is a 30-year-old software salesman ready to chase after more girls in a foreign country, just not in Fiji this time, in Mexico!
We most recently saw Aaron B. on Charity’s season, where he got sent home but then classically chased after her and flew to Fiji to try one last hand at getting her heart and hand in marriage. She ultimately made him wait until the night of the rose ceremony to send him home.
Let’s hope whoever, if he does, falls in love with him, treats him with more respect and dignity than Charity did. I wasn’t a big Aaron B. fan, but she should’ve never strung him along and made out with him if her heart wasn’t there or entirely in it anymore.
Jess (Zach’s Season)
Jess is a 24-year-old E-commerce coordinator ready to spread her glitter all over the sandy beaches in Mexico!
We last saw Jess competing for Zach’s heart and love on Season 27 of The Bachelor. Ultimately, although I wanted it to be for her, it didn’t end up working out between the two of them. I’m still super happy for her because she stayed true to who she was the entire time and never let anyone dull her sparkly, glittery, sweaty self. Good for you, girl! Good. For. You!
This is a weird side note, but I can totally and super weirdly see her ending up with someone like Sean…
Sean (Charity’s Season)
Sean is a 26-year-old software sales rep who is ready for love!
Sean was most recently on Charity’s season of The Bachelorette. He was a villain and someone you felt sorry for when he got sent home. Although the guys weren’t huge fans of him, Charity seemed to be.
He fought hard to be there and prove himself to her, although it ultimately did not work out too well for them. No love loss. I do think that all of these above qualities will make him a great contender for Paradise. What do you all think?!
Cat (Zach’s Season)
Cat is a 27-year-old professional dancer ready for love and has hopefully changed up her fashion just a bit (since the last time we saw her)!
Cat was indeed a wild one. I didn’t know what to think of her; I wasn’t sure if I should hate or love her, but she never bugged me much. Her super wide-eyed expressions cracked me up and certainly made me laugh at times, that’s for sure. No offense to her whatsoever, but I can see her being the girl who cries in every confessional room…
Peter (Charity’s Season)
Peter is a 33-year-old airline pilot who is ready to address all of his fellow Season 20 haters!
I liked Peter! I read his story just a bit and saw how sweet of a guy he is. I was sad that things didn’t work out for him and Charity, but I think there are better people for him. I feel good about Peter being on Bachelor in Paradise Season 9!
