Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon reveal unused baby name
Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon are quite possibly one of the most recognizable Bachelor Nation couples to ever come out of the show. Here’s how it all went down: Jared was on The Bachelorette Season 11 where it did not work out for him and Kaitlyn Bristowe. Ashley fell in love with Jared on Bachelor in Paradise Season 2.
At first, Jared wanted nothing to do with Ashley. But she kept pursuing Jared and to no avail. Eventually, he gave Ashley a chance after many scenes of us watching her cry and snottily upset over him. Ultimately, it all worked out; they got married and now share one gorgeous son, Dawson, together.
What baby name did Ashley and Jared almost pick? Do they want more kids in the future?
Here are Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon’s baby names that they almost chose for their son, Dawson, as well as their plans for more kids in the future!
In a recent Q&A on Ashley’s Instagram, she revealed a ton about her and Jared’s plans for their future family including how many kids they want and what name they might have chosen if Dawson had been a girl.
And the verdict is…Arena! Iaconetti expressed how much she loved that name “as that is the place where I’ve felt the most alive,” but followed up said statement with how much Jared didn’t like that name.
Does Jared like the name Ariana? Quite similar, am I right? Arena is a super cute name, though!
Before having Dawson, Ashley told her Insta family that she and Jared would stop at two kids, even if the second one was another boy. Even though Ashley admitted that she had a bit of gender disappointment at first, she also said that now she and Jared have been raising Dawson, she wouldn’t want it any other way. Plus, Jared got his Brady…*rolling eyes emoji*.
Speaking of Baby #2 for the Haibons, they have decided to wait a bit to try for the second and final child, and they’ve got some good reasons why.
Even though she admitted that she wishes she could wait longer to try and become pregnant again, Ashley truly feels as if she hasn’t been able to enjoy a summer in a while. This is why they are waiting until at least August to start trying again. Ashley wanted a decent enough break, given how sick she was when she was pregnant with Dawson.
Iaconetti and Haibon have also expressed that they’d like a close age gap between Dawson and their second child–maybe within three years of each other. She also wants Dawson to be a bit more on the independent side, as her and husband Jared have admitted that it hasn’t been the easiest with the three of them.
No matter what, all that we wish for the Haibons is nothing but happiness, health, and another beautiful baby to keep Dawson company and be his best friend, boy or girl!
