Colton Underwood marries husband Jordan C. Brown

Colton Underwood is officially a married man! During a ceremony on May 13th out in gorgeous Napa Valley, California, he and his now husband, Jordan C. Brown, tied the knot!

They are now officially known as the Brown-Underwoods, and we couldn’t be any happier for these two!

Now, this wasn’t your average wedding ceremony. This weekend-long party lasted three days! The festivities started on Friday night, planned by Ashley Smith Events, with “a family dinner and welcome party…before a full day of wedding festivities began Saturday morning”.

Here are just a few details about the ceremony that you may like to know:

• They said their “I dos” outside at the Carneros Resort and Spa
• 200 guests attended their wedding
• They were both wearing custom Tom Ford suits

Here’s what Colton Underwood said in his recent interview with PEOPLE Magazine, where the couple not only interviewed about their wedding but also shared their magical photos:

"We wanted to break some of the traditional norms of what a ceremony and a wedding look like…And for the entire weekend, we recognize that a lot of people attending, both families and some of our friends, this will be their first queer wedding. We really want to make it special."

Some other festivities from their lovely weekend in Napa included a disco-themed pool party and a simply gorgeous and otherwise super-talented performance by Stanford University’s Artistic Swimmers.

There was a super sweet touch to their wedding that I’ve never heard of before, but something that is so touching that you can’t help but get super emotional about it. Alongside them, as they wed, they had letters from other queer people from the 18th and 19th centuries that were forbidden or had to be sent secretly.

"It’s really cool. It helps us to pay tribute to the people who paved the way for all same-sex couples who can now get married."

Here are some other super fun facts about their wedding, including food, parting gifts, and so much more:

• They gifted all of their guests Privé Revaux sunglasses
• Some of their desserts included mini wedding cakes and, according to Brown, “The best chocolate chip cookie you ever had.”
• Their first dance song was ‘The Good Ones’ by Gabby Barrett.
• The dinner was family-style eating and included:
  • Salads, vegetables, steak, fish, and pasta
• Tons, and we mean tons, of spicy margaritas were drunk throughout the wedding
• They had two specialty cocktails featuring 21 Seeds Tequila
  • Two different cucumber and jalapeño-infused drinks
    • These drinks were dedicated to the couple’s two dogs, Scout and Zooka

The couple has already stated how happy they are with the family they’ve created together, including their super-loving community around them! Dogs too…DUH!
