Sadly, as audiences everywhere saw this past week, Ariel Frenkel was unfortunately sent home in The Bachelor Season 27, Episode 10. Her drop-dead gorgeous looks, fun and spontaneous personality, and genuine and authentic nature were probably why she quickly became a fan-favorite and frontrunner for Zach Shallcross.

Just one episode prior, the pair seemed to be hitting it off during the infamous “hometown dates.” NYC’s famous Ben’s Pizzeria and Sarge’s Delicatessen & Diner on 3rd Ave were just two of the pit stops on Shallcross and Frenkel’s intimate date. Naturally, the charming and cozy speakeasy probably piqued the interest of many viewers at home, and here are some of the known details behind the unique establishment.

What is a speakeasy?

During the prohibition era, speakeasies were created to allow people to indulge in and enjoy alcoholic beverages. However, in today’s day and age, when lawful alcohol consumption is permitted, speakeasies continue to be relevant and popular.

Those into the secretive or exclusive vibe that speakeasies provide may have wondered about the one Frenkel showed off in The Bachelor Season 27, Episode 9.

What is the name of the speakeasy that Ariel Frenkel took Zach Shallcross to?

New Yorkers might recognize it as the Stone Street Coffee on 9th Ave from the outside, but the inside is a different story.

As viewers saw during Frenkel’s hometown date, customers can access a speakeasy upon entering the coffee shop. Revolving around the “Roaring Twenties,” the Bathtub Gin bar perfectly captured the glamour and glitz often associated with this period.

And, yes, there are bathtubs in the bar, and based on the speakeasy’s Instagram page, photoshoots in them are strongly encouraged.

Where exactly is Bathtub Gin located?

Visiting this speakeasy is possible for The Bachelor fans on the east coast, especially in New York City. Bathtub Gin can be found at 132 9th Ave in the Chelsea section of the city.

However, west coast fans of The Bachelor don’t need to fret or worry because, fortunately, there is one in Los Angeles. Even though things didn’t work out for Frenkel and Shallcross, the couple’s hometown date and journey were unforgettable.
