Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Dean Unglert are officially engaged! Yes, that’s right, the Bachelor in Paradise couple that had a whirlwind romance on the beach has finally decided to take the next step in their relationship.

Many assumed it would never happen, given how carefree both are and how unconventional their relationship has been. But it has happened, and Bachelor Nation could not be happier over this joyous occasion.

I’m super pumped because they have been the cutest couple, and Bachelor in Paradise once again proved that it does work. At least better than the flagship shows, anyway!

Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Dean Unglert are getting married!

While co-hosting his Help! I Suck at Dating podcast with Jared Haibon, Unglert shared that he got a “new” engagement ring for Miller-Keyes after losing the original one (a 4.5-carat diamond!).

“It might be in the garage somewhere but yeah, moral of the story is don’t put your engagement rings in the junk drawer,” Unglert said. “So I did have to go out and buy a placeholder ring for now, but it’s not quite as nice as the first one was.”

At the time of the recording, Unglert had not proposed, but he reassured Haibon that the proposal would have already happened by the time it aired. And it seems it has!

Speculation, or rather passive-aggressive comments, have been made about Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Dean Unglert’s relationship over the years, but they can now stop! Each couple has its timeline, and while marriage was the ultimate goal for Miller-Keyes, things happened when they made sense.

As Bachelor Nation fans, we all want to see our favorite couples take the next step in their relationship, but I don’t think there is anything wrong with taking your time to make sure this is it. I’m super happy for this couple, and I can’t wait to learn more about their upcoming nuptials (I know they were considering Italy as a potential destination!).
