The third week of The Bachelorette Season 19 had its fair share of heroes and villains!

Welcome to the third week of The Bachelorette Season 19! No matter how you look at it, I truly believe that the new two leading ladies, the Bachelorettes themselves, Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia, will do a fantastic job. I say this despite whatever other people have to say about it. It’ll be interesting to see how this double lead thing works out!

More for the future? We shall see, folks, we shall see!

Be sure to let us know in the comments about your thoughts on week three now!

Okay, let’s talk…

So this week, Gabby and Rachel had a lot of back and forth, both not feeling seen or loved by the men. As far as Gabby goes, she solo visited the house, and the guys didn’t pay any sort of mind to her being there. As far as Rachel goes, she and Gabby decided to do separate journeys, and Rachel’s roses kept getting rejected by men who were more interested in Gabby.

The Bachelorette Season 19 Episode 2: Heroes

#1: Zach

This week, Zach got Rachel’s first successful one-on-one date. They were met with Karamo of the Netflix hit show Queer Eye and treated to some super fancy clothes and an exclusive movie premiere, all complete with a red carpet, paparazzi, and all else in between.

It ended up being a movie filled with both childhood photos and videos. Both Rachel and Zach cried. Zach started to tear up when his mom was on the screen wishing him well on his journey on The Bachelorette. If he treats those two women equally, then Rachel’s a lucky girl. I love these two together, and as Karamo himself said, “If he’s not the one…” Let’s hope he is!

#2: Erich

During his one-on-one date with Gabby, they talked about family, their childhood upbringing, and other stuff of that nature. Gabby started to get upset and excused herself from the table, then talked to producers about how she’s too broken for someone to love.

During this time, poor Erich was all alone at the unedible dinner table. He respected her wishes and needed to walk and step away for a second. Upon returning to the table, Erich never asked any questions, he just let Gabby talk and explain herself. While he was being sweet and there for her, he’s still a bit questionable to me. I think he’s kind of awkward, and I’m not totally sold on him yet, but he does seem like a super sweet guy nonetheless! I hope he treats Gabby well, much like she so deserves to be!
