The Bachelorette Season 9: Desiree Hartsock

The Bachelorette Season 9 featured a 27-year-old bridal stylist, Desiree Hartsock as the lead. For the third time in a row, The Bachelorette featured a woman who had previously been on The Bachelor. Instead of being on Brad Womack’s season, Desiree was a contestant on The Bachelor Season 17. Sean Lowe was the lead but he sent Desiree home early. At the end of her season, she accepted the proposal from Chris Siegfried.

The two got married in 2015, two years after the show aired. The couple currently lives in Seattle, Washington. Together they have two children, two boys, born in 2016 and 2019. In addition to having a family Desiree has stayed busy since her time on The Bachelorette.

According to her Instagram page, she is an author, bridal stylist, and podcast host. She is the author of the book, The Road to Roses, about maintaining hope and finding confidence in your own journey. She continues her bridal stylings at Desiree Hartsock Bridal. In addition to these two, she is also the host of the Heart of Purpose podcast.
