The Bachelorette Season 8: Emily Maynard

The 26-year-old children’s hospital event planner, Emily Maynard, was the featured lady on The Bachelorette Season 8. Emily was the winner of The Bachelor Season 15 with Brad Womack choosing her as the lucky lady. The two split after the show and Emily got her second chance at a televised journey to find love. This came a season after Ashley Hebert was the lead, another contestant on Brad Womack’s season. Emily was also the second Bachelor winner to lead The Bachelorette. The first to do so was Jennifer Schefft in The Bachelor Season 3.

In the end, Emily accepted a proposal from the 27-year-old entrepreneur from St. George, Utah, Jef Holm. The two didn’t last long calling it quits three months after the finale aired. Jef is currently in a relationship with Francesca Farago from Too Hot to Handle. Emily went on to marry Tyler Johnson in 2014. Together they have four children, three boys born a year apart starting in 2015, and a girl born in 2020. This is in addition to her daughter whom she had in a previous relationship before the show.

You can see her family on her Instagram page where she also lists her achievement of New York Times Best Seller. She wrote the book titled, I Said Yes: My Story of Heartbreak, Redemption, and True Love, which earned her this honor. The Bachelorette Season 8 star enjoyed her family and the fact that she finally found true love.
