Matt James sets “personal record” at Boston Marathon
Just two short days ago was the 2022 Boston Marathon. Many people competed in it, from regular joes like you and me, to big celebrities, such as various professional athletes, and even a few Bachelor Nation alums like Zac Clark, and even a Survivor alum-like winner and cancer survivor Ethan Zohn.
However, the person in the spotlight this time was the historic Bachelor, Matt James. He not only competed but he also hit a personal best which his girlfriend, Rachael Kirkconnell supported!
Stay tuned for what exactly his brand new personal best was and how he and Rachael celebrated!
Matt James set a personal best record at this year’s Boston Marathon
On Monday, Kirkconnell took to Instagram to show her immense support and just how proud she was of her boyfriend, Matt James, who completed the Boston Marathon earlier that day. Not only did he complete it, but according to her, he “crushed it”.
In just over 3 hours and 49 seconds, Matt James hit his personal best.
The photo that Rachael posted was taken by Suni Lee who also competed on Dancing With The Stars with Matt James last season (she was involved in the Boston Marathon as well).
James and Kirkconnell first fell in love on the show, then took a break due to some very undeserved controversy that arose from way back in Kirkconnell’s past (totally unwarranted). Then, just last year, they fully rekindled their romance and took back to posting all about it on Instagram. I’ve gotta admit that I’m not a Matt fan, but I love these two together!
Way to go to all of the runners in the 2022 Boston Marathon this year! Congrats to Matt James for his personal best and for running for a cause that was near and dear to this heart! Kudos to Rachael Kirkconnell for always sticking by her boo’s side, no matter what he’s doing/supporting!
Congratulations Matt James!
