When does Bachelor in Paradise 2022 start?

Bachelor in Paradise 2022–where you at? Fans are already thinking about the franchise’s arguably best series which usually airs during the summer. The schedule has been winky wonky ever since the COVID-19 delays began a couple of years ago so I’m not sure entirely sure what ABC’s plans are.
What makes this interesting is that the next season of The Bachelorette is set to premiere on July 11. Side note: How are we feeling about two Bachelorettes?! I’m not sure if it’s going to end well because it’s more than likely that the two leads will be meeting men from the same pool of 30. I can’t imagine that will be easy, but we’ll have to see. I am happy, however, for Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia because Clayton Echard royally screwed them over.
Anyway, usually The Bachelorette airs in late May or early June but it looks like producers want to take a break after Clayton’s dumpster fire season. I don’t mind honestly, our brains are fried after that drama.
But what does this mean for Bachelor in Paradise 2022?
When will Bachelor in Paradise 2022 air?
Well, the question isn’t when it will air but rather if it will air. There is no confirmation from ABC or from the Bachelor franchise about this but according to Reality Steve, Bachelor Nation guru, he doesn’t think the series will even come back.
Back in October 2021, he said this:
“This is strictly a prediction on my part, but I have a feeling Paradise might be done. It didn’t do well this past season, the format is getting old and tired, and …well, that’s just my prediction.”
This was obviously months ago and there is no indication that the network is going to cancel the show but given that the next season of The Bachelorette season is airing in the middle of the summer, it does have me wondering if Reality Steve is onto something.
Honestly, if ABC actually made the decision not to do Bachelor in Paradise 2022 (or onwards) then they would definitely regret it. Personally, it’s my favorite series of the bunch and I would rather trade in The Bachelor for it.
The love stories feel more genuine and authentic, the connections are way stronger, and overall, it’s just more realistic than the other two shows. If these guys know what they’re doing then they will not cancel the series.
Seriously, ABC, do not do cancel Bachelor in Paradise.
