What year was Jesse Palmer the Bachelor? I think fans have been searching high and low to learn more about The Bachelor’s latest host who took over hosting duties from Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tayshia Adams. It was nice to see things mixed up a little bit and Jesse Palmer was a perfect choice.

While Bachelor Nation has come to know Jesse Palmer as the new host, there was a time when he was known as Jesse Palmer the Bachelor. Of course, some of you may have been far too young to remember when he was the lead in the show, but alas, it did happen.

When was this exactly? And did he end up with the person he chose on the show? Find out below!

When was Jesse Palmer the Bachelor?

So, in the early 2000s, Palmer dabbled in pro-football and played for the New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers. Circa 2004, he changed things up and went from playing football to becoming the lead of The Bachelor Season 5. To give you context, we are now in Season 26.

It’s been almost two decades since Palmer was the Bachelor and now he’s back in that world enjoying his time as a host. And according to him, it is much easier being the host than the lead or a contestant. Yeah, I would imagine!

Clayton Echard’s season is coming to a close next week but as of now, ABC has made no announcements as to whether or not Jesse Palmer will return as the host. If you’re asking me, then I say heck yes we want Jesse Palmer to come back!

Even though he is no longer Jesse Palmer the Bachelor, he has been a great host and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed watching him. We’ll have to wait and see what ABC decides in the coming days and weeks.

Oh, and in case you’re wondering, Palmer did not marry anyone from his season. At the end of his season, he picked then 22-year old Jessica Bowling. They did not leave the show engaged and continued a relationship outside of the show, however, they broke up about a month after the finale.

But even though he did not marry anyone from his season, he did get married back in June 2020 to model Emely Fardo. The two are still married two years later, and look incredibly happy! Jesse Palmer the Bachelor is now Jesse Palmer the man who found his happily ever after (even if it wasn’t from the show).

dark. Next. The Bachelor Season 26, Episode 9 recap: Women Tell All
