Bachelor in Paradise Season 7, Episode 10: War of Roses
Rose lovers, if there’s anything I’ve learned during Bachelor in Paradise Season 7, it is that the beach brings out the worst in people…and the best. Last week’s episode featured a chaotic rose ceremony, with one contestant not only blindsiding his rose giver of the week–but also the viewers, who thought he was nothing like what he turned out to be.
From Ivan Hall’s shady gimmicks to Ed Waistbrot’s kind gesture–a lot went down before this week’s rose ceremony.
Let’s discuss the most interesting choice of roses from last week’s episode of Bachelor in Paradise Season 7:
War of Roses: Bachelor in Paradise Season 7, Couple 1: Chelsea’s Rose Goes To…
Bachelor in Paradise Season 7 proved that it’s never too late for a hero to become a villain…and we’re not talking Thomas Jacobs-level villain, we mean the Brendan Morais kind. Ivan Hall, who we watched and loved on Tayshia’s season of The Bachelorette betrayed his bro Aaron by going after his girl, hours before the rose ceremony.
Hall also smooched with Chelsea in Aaron’s line of view, which led to a heated argument between the two. Ivan then announced proudly that it was Chelsea who pulled him aside to talk when we all know it was him who did it. He then lied for a second time, when Chelsea asked him why he had lied to the others.
As if the lies weren’t enough, Wells later reveals that Ivan broke Paradise protocol by spending the night they changed hotels (during the storm) with a future contestant, and spied on a producer’s phone to find out her room number. Ivan was sent home and Chelsea gave Aaron her rose, so that’s sorted now, but I still can’t get over what Ivan has done! Way to ruining your reputation, Ivan, and blaming it on the beach.
War of Roses: Bachelor in Paradise Season 7, Couple 2: Tia’s Rose Goes To James
I was so happy for bro in a box! Tia (who deserves BETTER than anyone on this beach, methinks) gave her rose to James instead of Blake, even though the latter made her “vagina tingle”. Clearly, her conversation with Blake has made no difference in his attempts to further their connection before the rose ceremony.
Tia gives her rose to James, and makes a comment about appreciating his efforts to charm her, and expresses that his attempts haven’t gone unnoticed. Blake’s face is priceless, but I mean – what did he even expect?
The other roses given out during Bachelor in Paradise Season 7, Episode 10 were predictable as usual. Serena gave her rose to Joe, Abigail to Noah, Maurissa to Riley, Mari to Kenny, Becca to Thomas, and Natasha to Ed.
