The Bachelorette: Ranking top nine promos of all time
3. The Bachelorette Season 16: Tayshia Adams
Last year, Bachelor Nation was freaking out as rumors swirled that Clare had exited her season early and been replaced by Tayshia. With this video, ABC finally confirmed that the speculation was true.
Tayshia’s skirt, covered in Tweets and headlines, is so clever, and I love her cheeky “Were you expecting somebody else?” The only thing I would change is the blue jumpsuit. Tayshia can pull off almost anything, but without the fun skirt, it’s just not her best look.
This one gets an 8.5/10 for being more exciting and dramatic than Clare’s.
2. The Bachelorette Season 15: Hannah Brown
Wow. What an iconic The Bachelorette promo. It has a cinematic aesthetic that had never been done in Bachelor Nation before.
Hannah started off looking like a princess in a fairytale forest, but as she stripped off her crown, sash, and skirts, ABC let us know that this season of The Bachelorette would be a story of personal growth – a compelling and unique angle for this franchise.
The song “You Don’t Own Me” also brilliantly foreshadowed Hannah’s bombshell conflict with Luke Parker. All in all, the commercial looked beautiful and was a perfect fit for Hannah’s journey.
I’m giving it a 9/10 because it can only be beaten by one…
1. The Bachelorette Season 18: Michelle Young
Y’ALL. The production value in this. The dress. The flowers. The camerawork. The attention to detail – just look at that diamond basketball net!
This promo tells us a lot about Michelle Young in a short amount of time, which all good trailers should strive to do. We know she’s passionate about athletics and teaching, and that she’s “looking for someone to change the world with [her].” She exudes beauty, class, and confidence.
This commercial gives The Bachelorette a gravity it’s desperately been missing lately. Yes, I’m sure Michelle’s season will be just as dramatic as any other, but I’d also love some classic romance…and maybe it’s just because of the promo, but I feel like the season will deliver.
I’m giving it a 10/10 because Michelle is the queen. Here’s hoping The Bachelorette Season 18 will also be a 10/10 season!

The Bachelorette Season 18 will premiere on October 19, 2021, at 8 PM EST on ABC.
