It's 50 Shades of CRAY on the first night of #TheBachelorette! Who will the guys choose?

6. The Bachelorette Season 11: Kaitlyn Bristowe (& Britt Nilsson!)

That’s right, this season of The Bachelorette started out with two leading ladies. The men met both Kaitlyn and Britt and then voted on who they wanted as the Bachelorette, with Kaitlyn winning. Pretty brutal, in my opinion, but all’s well that ends well.

The Fifty Shades of Grey reference in this promo was…a choice, but I guess it made sense in 2015. Overall, they did a good job at showing the mix of romance, goofiness, and tears that define the show. I’ll give it a 5.5/10, just beating out JoJo’s because it’s a bit more unique.

5. The Bachelorette Season 13: Rachel Lindsay

I still remember how excited I was when this Bachelorette promo dropped in 2017. Rachel looks incredible, and the song perfectly describes her arc from jilted contestant to rising star. The whole trailer feels like a celebration of Rachel and her history-making turn as the first Black Bachelor Nation lead.

The only reason this one doesn’t rank higher is that it doesn’t quite have the production value of the next few. I give it a 7/10.

4. The Bachelorette Season 16: Clare Crawley

Clare’s promo is fun, stylish, empowering, and expresses her no-nonsense attitude. It’s got a consistent message and Clare’s dress is simple but gorgeous. Plus, I like how the scenes from Juan Pablo’s season play on the “walls” and “floor.” It’s a cool little special effect we haven’t seen in a promo before.

I’ll give this The Bachelorette promo an 8/10.
