Matt James joins the cast of Dancing with the Stars

Dancing with the Stars is a competitive ballroom dancing show in which celebrities are each paired up with a pro dancer. Each contestant is competing for the same exact thing: the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy!

Each year, about a week or so before the official cast list comes out, a few celebs’ names get released here and there. The latest name to get released? The former Bachelor himself, 29-year old Matt James, is here and ready to compete on Season 30!

How will Matt James do on Dancing with the Stars?

Whether we’re talking about at a rose ceremony being the Bachelor or dancing his heart away in the ballroom, I’m certain that Matt James will continue to catch the eye of many people in America. I was never really a giant fan of Matt at all myself; however, with how tall and awkward that he is, it should be super interesting to see how he does on the actual show, DWTS, in general!

Matt James has since been under some speculation and controversy in regards to his relationship with Rachael Kirkconnell back on Season 25 of The Bachelor, which aired earlier in 2021. They briefly split after some of Kirkconnell’s past resurfaced (although, I think it was blown way out of proportion).

Honestly, as each year passes and the cast of Dancing with the Stars gets announced, there’s always tons of speculation, rumors, etc. as to who will be bearing it all in the ballroom. As long as there’s a season of The Bachelor/The Bachelorette, then there’s certainly a chance for the leading suitor(s) to make an appearance (take for example Kaitlyn Bristowe and Hannah Brown from a few recent seasons ago).
