Who do you think will receive the final rose tonight on The Bachelorette season 17 finale? Katie Thurston‘s journey to finding true love is finally coming to a close, and I think I speak for everyone when I say I predict this episode will be totally explosive.
In case you missed it, hometowns this season ended on an abrupt note last week when contestant
seemingly self-eliminated. Clearly, the pressure is getting to each man and it’s getting more and more difficult to stay in the competition. Fortunately for the final two left, though, they won’t have to wait much longer to find out who will win Katie’s heart. Between
and Justin Glaze, I think most fans know who Katie will ultimately choose.
But who
really
knows what will happen? There could be a major twist at the end of tonight’s episode. Well, buckle up, readers! The finale will be longer than previous episodes.
How long is The Bachelorette finale?
As revealed in teasers for The Bachelorette season 17 finale, tonight’s episode will run for three hours long! That’s the lengthiest episode we’ve seen this season yet, and it’s not surprising. Given the events of last week’s hometowns, Katie has a ton of pressure on her right now. Although we can tell she has a strong connection with Blake and it should be a no-brainer decision, this is a huge deal. Katie has to choose who she wants to get engaged to and potentially be with for the rest of her life.
And as we’ve seen in a teaser, which you can check out below, Blake realizes that Katie took a huge blow losing Greg. He might not be ready to commit if he believes Katie is still thinking about someone who left.
When is After the Final Rose?
Another reason tonight’s show will go on for so long is because the After the Final Rose special will air right after the finale. The pre-taped show is hosted by Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe, and it should bring all the feels for Katie. As teased by Kaitlyn on Twitter last week, it looks like Greg will make his return for ATFR. Hopefully that’s the case, so Katie (and everyone at home watching) can get some closure.
Tonight’s a huge night for Bachelor Nation and you won’t want to miss a minute of it.
