Does Greg Grippo come back on The Bachelorette season 17?

After last night’s heartbreaking episode where The Bachelorette season 17 contestant Greg Grippo seemingly went home, Bachelor Nation was left puzzled and confused as to what this meant for Greg’s future with the season going forward.

Greg was the forerunner of the entire season, and his sudden exit gave fans zero closure for his incredible story. Because of this, many believe that he will actually come back in the next episode to re-confess his love for Katie and sweep her off her feet. But, then again, his departure last night led many to believe that he was completely done with his journey with Katie Thurston.

Will he return or has he thrown in the towel for good? We speculate down below.

Did Greg Grippo really self-eliminate on The Bachelorette?

As of right now, it’s unclear whether or not Greg Grippo will come back to finish the rest of season 17, but all signs are currently pointing to a firm no, especially given the fact that the teasers of the season finale are totally void of this New Jersey native.

Of course, this could be an elaborate ploy created by the show’s producers to trick Bachelor Nation, in order to give us a big surprise in next week’s episode. After all, this show is full of shocking moments and it just doesn’t seem right for Greg’s story to end so abruptly without some sort of final goodbye or some grand gesture.

Still, it is also entirely possible that the show isn’t pulling any tricks at all, and that this, indeed, was the last time we will see Greg for the rest of the season.

We’ll have to wait until the final episode of The Bachelorette season 17 to air to know whether or not Greg Grippo will decide to put his heart on the line one more time before ending his journey completely, but, in the meantime, we’re crossing our fingers for some signs that point to Katie and Greg’s beautiful love story continuing past last night’s episode.

The season finale airs on August 9, and according to a tweet from Kaitlyn Bristowe last night, it appears Greg will be present at the After the Final Rose special. We’re interested to see what he’ll have to say.
