Top 3: The Bachelorette Season 17, Episode 8 rankings
The end of The Bachelorette Season 17 is in sight, but not before one more reunion with all the behind-the-scenes moments and secrets from the contestants we have come to know and love! Yes, it was the Men Tell All episode on Monday night and the gentlemen came to play.
With the sudden departure of Michael A. at the beginning of the episode, a surprise Zoom call with the season’s villain Thomas, and a passionate song about bromance from Connor B. there was a lot to unpack.
But between the bloopers and the video of Kaitlyn Bristowe’s engagement, who stood out from the group and made it into our power rankings from this week’s episode of The Bachelorette Season 17?

The Bachelorette Season 17, Episode 8 power rankings
#1: Michael A.
Bachelor Nation’s favorite hot dad is back in our hearts and back in the power rankings after deciding to leave the show for the best reason possible; his son. Michael A. and his newly single beard take the number one spot this week.
Instead of jumping right into our happy family reunion of the men, Monday’s episode started back at the resort with a distraught Michael A. struggling with how to handle being away from his son, James. A FaceTime call in which James commented that his dad didn’t want to see him aka heartbreaking sealed the deal and it was off down the hotel hall which can only mean one thing. Michael arrived at Katie Thurston’s door to break up with her and send himself home.
These two clearly were falling in love and Michael even went as far as to say that he would go back to Katie if she was into it once we got to the Men Tell All portion of the show. Their break-up was very emotional and it was hard to watch him re-visit his time with the girl who taught him to love again. If this is a play for Michael to become the next Bachelor, count me in! Sweetheart Michael is an angel and I NEED him to find love immediately.
#2: Andrew S.
Runner-up this week is the man who absolutely HAS to be the other option for our next Bachelor if Michael A. doesn’t get the nod. Recently broken-hearted Andrew S. takes second place in our power rankings.
After a traumatic break-up last week, it is safe to say that Andrew was at the top of the list in terms of dudes we simply had to have taking the hot seat on Men Tell All. Luckily for Bachelor Nation, the episode did not disappoint and Andrew faced Kaitlyn and Tayshia to go over his emotional rollercoaster of a departure from the show.
Andrew handled everything like a pro and discussed how real his relationship was with Katie including having the hard conversations such as being in an interracial couple. He concluded his time on the couch by saying that he got so close to finding that great love with our Bachelorette and he really deserves to be chosen by his future wife. Sigh, I am all in on an Andrew journey to find love! Let’s get this man some roses to hand out!
#3: Connor B.
Last, but not least, is the cat math teacher who has hopefully found validation on his kissing skills. Yes, Connor B. takes the final spot in our top three.
Being dumped after a not-so-great kiss on national television can’t feel good, but Connor got some redemption during his time on the hot seat Monday night. While reminiscing about his relationship with Katie, a voice from the crowd exclaimed that there is no way Connor is a bad kisser and she was there to prove it! This bold lady made her way to the stage to engage in some full-on lip lock and Connor was not mad about it at all.
After all the make-out shenanigans, Connor brought it back to the boys and serenaded the group with a ukulele song about their bromance to end the episode. It was honestly adorable and I love the bonding this crew has! Connor has a new lady (maybe) and friends for life (hopefully) after his time on The Bachelorette Season 17 and really, what more can you ask for?
Only two weeks left for Katie to decide who is her true love!
Hometowns are next so tune in to see who passes the family test and who makes it into our rankings on next week’s episode of The Bachelorette Season 17!
