It looks like we’re one step closer to an engagement on The Bachelorette season 17! Tonight’s episode of Katie Thurston‘s journey to finding true love was a bit different than previous weeks, as a handful of contestants returned for the Men Tell All special. Co-hosts Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe looked stunning as they interviewed Katie’s former suitors and got to see where everyone’s heads were at after leaving the show.
From Andrew Clancy continuing to pick fights with Karl Smith to Connor Brennan making out with a woman from the audience, the
Men Tell All
brought the laughs, the eye rolls, and even the tears. Not going to lie, reliving Andrew Spencer’s elimination got me emotional all over again! But at the end of the day, these men really were great this season, and they proved that if anything, they made everlasting friendships out of their experiences.
Connor B. even sang a song about forming a bromance with the guys! I’m still impressed by how great
most
of the guys have been this season.
But though the Men Tell All special was no doubt entertaining, we did get an elimination early on in tonight’s episode that shook Bachelor Nation to its core. As the show opened up, we saw Michael Allio FaceTiming with his son while at the house, and things got emotional very fast.
Did anyone go home on The Bachelorette – Men Tell All?
Before the Men Tell All officially began, we saw Michael break down in tears after a call with his son, where his son asked why he wasn’t coming home. “Maybe Daddy left because he doesn’t want to see me,” we heard James say, which really struck a chord with Michael.
Sadly, Michael decided he needed to leave the show to go home to James, which he explained to Katie. Obviously blindsided, Katie was heartbroken to see Michael go and even hinted that he could’ve won if he didn’t leave.
Everyone watching tonight’s episode was devastated to see Michael and Katie’s time together end, and Michael did return for the Men Tell All. While talking to Kaitlyn on stage, Michael revealed he would be open to trying things again with Katie if she was interested. But of course, as Katie later explained, she continued on with the show after Michael left and without giving anything away about how the season ends, Katie simply stated that “everything happens for a reason.”
Hometowns week is finally next week! Be sure to see how the rest of the season goes for Katie, Greg Grippo, Blake Moynes, and Justin Glaze when The Bachelorette returns next Monday.
