Top 3: The Bachelorette Season 17, Episode 7 rankings

THE BACHELORETTE - After narrowing down her suitors to the remaining dirty dozen, Katie hopes to find out who has the willpower to keep it clean with a new – and hard – challenge. While the guys in the house see if they can keep their promise, one lucky man opens up to Katie with vows of his own in a ceremonious one-on-one date. Katie then enlists two queens – “RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars” winners Shea Couleé and Monét X Change – to help find her a king in a group date debate that is sure to bring some royal tension. And later, a one-on-one date becomes a two-on-two, with a special double date featuring Bachelor Nation power couple Kaitlyn Bristowe and (her now fiancé) Jason Tartick. But do Kaitlyn and Jason’s connection make Katie question her own? An all-new “The Bachelorette” airs MONDAY, JULY 12 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC. (ABC/Craig Sjodin)KATIE THURSTON, JUSTIN

Hometowns are coming up next on The Bachelorette Season 17 (seriously, how are we here already?!)! On Monday night’s episode our girl, Katie Thurston, had her work cut out for her as she had to narrow the squad from seven to four. Not jealous of that challenge at all, TBH.

There was an erotic art class, a mom-filled cuddling session in the woods, flying fish, and a tear-filled exit and return from a clear fan favorite. But between the questionable paintings and the “trip” to Seattle, who really got the gold star from the teacher and made it into our power rankings?

Find out who made our list from this week’s episode of The Bachelorette Season 17–and share your top 3 in the comments below!

#1: Greg

The sad puppy himself (and my personal guess for the top two) lands in our top spot this week after a  fire one-on-one date that left all parties feeling the puppy love. Giddy Greg Grippo is the number one person on this list and I think on Katie’s list of potential husbands.

It had been some time since Greg had his original one-on-one date with our Bachelorette, but this week his luck turned around and he got one of two coveted spots. Katie decided to take Greg to her hometown of Seattle where the two visited Katie’s Place Market and partook in fish throwing, bouquet making, oyster shucking, and bubblegum blowing. A very simple date, but these two were laughing and giggling like kids the entire time.

Things, of course, got a bit more serious that evening as they discussed what their future could look like and it is definitely easy to see these two as a real-life couple. Greg even revealed that he is ready for Katie to meet his mom and they sealed the perfect night with a makeout in a “rainstorm.” Zero surprises here that Greg got the rose and that we will see his family at hometowns.

#2: Michael A.

If you have been paying attention at all it is easy to see why our second place man makes it into the rankings almost every week. Amazing, adorable, single dad Michael A. takes the silver medal this time.

As if we didn’t know that sweetheart, Michael is a great dad, we got to see him FaceTiming his son, James, on Monday night and I think Bachelor Nation had a collective “awwwww” at the interaction. Seriously, my heart grew three sizes when he told him they were best friends forever.

In the battle for Katie’s heart, Michael is also saying all the right things and making me melt. After the group date in which he molded a sculpture of Katie’s “rearview,” he took the emotional approach during their alone time at the cocktail party. Michael assured Katie that no one can love her as he can and she reassured him she felt the same when she gave him the rose. These two are too adorable!

#3: Andrew

Finally, this week is the guy who maybe, possibly, I kinda hope could be our next Bachelor. (Unconfirmed, obviously, but would be the farthest from mad if this actually happened!) Rejected once only to return and exit again Andrew takes the last place in our rankings.

After what he thought was a successful group date showcase his sushi painting skills and the recreation of their one-on-one where he revealed that he is falling for Katie, Andrew thought he had the hometown key rose in the bag. And so did I and I think so did all of Bachelor Nation!

Alas, Justin was the name called for the final rose and Andrew said a tear-filled goodbye. But the next day brought a knock on Katie’s door and a surprise visit from our boy who wanted their break-up to end on a happy note and not full of crying!

The two chatted and cried and the whole thing ended with Katie chasing Andrew down in the hotel only to offer to have him stay longer. Taking full advantage of his time to audition to be the next Bachelor, Andrew declined to say that he wants his wife to pick him the first time and that he could not stay in this place of sadness.

They shared one last makeout session and Andrew was officially off into the wild as a single man. ABC, I think we would all be into seeing more of Andrew on our screens in any capacity!
