, they couldn’t possibly leave the red carpet without being interviewed by our former

Bachelorette

leading lady now working for Extra.

Rachel Lindsay interviews Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell

Former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay got a chance to speak with James and Kirkconnell during the 2021 ESPY Awards and asked them the pressing questions that were on everyone’s minds.

First, Lindsay asked if the couple were watching the current season of The Bachelorette, to which Kirkconnell stated that while she’s not tuning in, she’s supporting Katie Thurston and is excited for whoever she ends up picking. The conservation then led to Rachel Lindsay wondering what was next for the pair.

Matt James replied:

"I think we’re both working on some exciting things. We’ve got a hydroponic farm that’s coming into the city that we’re going to be integrating our students into working [on]."

While we didn’t get much insight into the couple’s relationship, we did get to see the pair answer some pop culture pop-quiz questions. Check out the full interview down below.
