Katie Thurston‘s season of The Bachelorette is turning out more interesting than I honestly expected as she’s formed genuine connections with multiple contestants, faced drama in the house, and already has a new addition in Blake Moynes. It’s a lot for viewers to handle, so we can only imagine how Katie feels! Fortunately, she does have hosts Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe by her side to lend support, but it must be tough navigating her heart in such tricky circumstances.
But of course, that’s what we love about this show! It’s never an easy decision for the lead to figure out who they want to spend the rest of their lives with, and on
, it really does seem like anyone’s game still. Even if there are obvious frontrunners in Greg Grippo,
, and Andrew Spencer, someone could easily still swoop in and steal Katie’s heart.
And honestly, that seems a bit likely right now. Blake and Katie seemed to have had an instant connection when they met in episode 4, and we could see him going far. But how far will he go, and will he get down on one knee in the season finale?
We’ve got all The Bachelorette tea you need to know below.
*Spoilers ahead for The Bachelorette season 17.*
Does Blake win The Bachelorette season 17?
If you’re here to find out whether or not Blake Moynes wins The Bachelorette season 17 and if he and Katie get engaged, we have the answers. Per TV guru Reality Steve, Blake does in fact win the final rose and he does pop the question! Katie and Blake are currently engaged.
Reality Steve reported this in a June 23 post, where he explained:
"“For the longest time since filming ended, I basically kept hearing things about her final 4 of those who DIDN’T win. And at some point during that time, I’ve received actual proof that Andrew, Justin, and Greg all didn’t win. I obviously can’t share that proof without compromising sources. Last week was when I got the proof on the final guy who didn’t win. So yeah, all signs pointed to Blake due to process of elimination, but I still didn’t feel comfortable reporting Blake because nobody had actually told me ‘Katie is engaged to Blake.’ I also hadn’t been told that she DIDN’T pick him either. Just hadn’t heard anything regarding Blake until this past weekend I got my first ‘She’s with Blake’ info, then yesterday, got the confirmation I needed.”"
Blake might be a late addition to the season, but it could’ve very well been love at first sight for him and Katie in this most recent episode! Now I really wonder how the other men in the house will react to the fact that another contestant is being added. As we’ve seen in the past (ahem, Kaitlyn’s season of The Bachelorette), cast members on this show don’t take too well to new additions.
Be sure to keep up with The Bachelorette season 17 to see how it all unfolds, airing every Monday night on ABC.
