What a whirlwind tonight has been, Bachelor Nation! We’re officially past the four-episode mark on The Bachelorette season 17 and things have gotten wild to say the least. Not only has Katie Thurston formed genuine connections with a handful of her lucky contestants, but there’s also been heavy drama with Thomas Jacobs, and a new addition to the cast in Blake Moynes from Clare Crawley/Tayshia Adams’ season of The Bachelorette.

No one can say tonight’s episode was boring, as it opened up with a hilarious group date which put some of Katie’s men to the test to see how far they would go to impress her. From having to eat hot peppers to waxing parts of their bodies, the men were troopers on the date and had an all in all great time. Cue the cocktail party after the group date, however, and the drama began.

As you probably remember from last week, the drama between Thomas and the rest of the house came to a head when Thomas admitted he thought about becoming the next Bachelor when joining the season. From there, the men believed he wasn’t there for the right reasons, and Tre Cooper decided to let Katie know.

And in the midst of all of that, co-host Tayshia stopped by Katie’s room to let her know someone from her past wanted to join the competition. Of course, that was Blake. While Katie didn’t want to hurt any of the guys’ feelings, she did seem into Blake right from the start. She also revealed the two had DMed after she appeared on Matt James‘ season of The Bachelor. Uh oh!

And still to come after that was the rose ceremony! So who went home tonight?
