Okay, let’s talk…
There’s not a whole lot to talk about when it comes to the guys on night one. There were, however, some pretty shady things that went on that did not set up the men for a super promising future with Katie.
We’re here to talk about it all with all of you, so be sure to engage down in the comments below and let us know what you think!
The Bachelorette Season 17, Episode 2: Heroes
#1: Mike
First of all, my heart just goes out to him because you know for a fact that the producers of the show put him on that date on purpose (and shame on them, they should crawl in a hole and feel super s***y about themselves forever).
He handled the situation with gratitude, grace, poise, and while he was super uncomfy watching the other guys on the date (ahem….Karl), he still made the most of it. The fact that he and Katie cried made me cry, and let’s be honest…we all could use a good cry once in a while!
#2: Michael
He handled this week like a champ! In every other past season of The Bachelor/The Bachelorette, people who don’t get a date in a week will sneak away, bothering the leading man/leading lady. It just creates unnecessary drama (legit the only kind of drama that we all hate.
I’m still rooting for him and always will. Move over, Greg!
The Bachelorette Season 17, Episode 2: Villains
#1: Karl
Yay! We’ve found the Victoria of the season, aka Karl Smith! Never thought I’d find someone that I dislike as much as I do her. But hey, let’s get them both on Bachelor in Paradise and call it a night.
The fact that he called it The Hunger Games with his dumb a** attitude, made me shake my head.
Ugh…
#2: Cody
Whether Cody Menk wanted to be on the show for Katie or the fifteen seconds of fame that he undeservingly got, he just never sat well with me.
Bud, dude, tool–whatever you wanna be called, just go treat your dolly well, because we all know that even Katie wouldn’t have gotten all of that sort of attention. Thank goodness he’s gone!
That’s a wrap on last week’s list of heroes and villains!
