While The Bachelorette season 17 with Katie Thurston just started this month, we’d be lying if we said we weren’t already looking towards the next show in the franchise, Bachelor in Paradise. In my opinion, BiP is by far the best series in the ABC franchise, as it gets far more chaotic, fun, and all in all less serious than The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. Plus, we get to see some of our favorite stars return for another shot at love. And sometimes, people are back for a third, fourth, or even a fifth try.

Bachelor in Paradise season 7 is premiering on ABC on August 16, 2021, and spoilers about the upcoming installment are already coming out. Fans have speculated which Bachelor alums could be coming back for BiP season 7, including the likes of former Bachelorette Hannah Brown, The Bachelor contestant Abigail Heringer, and more.

We haven’t had a new season of Bachelor in Paradise since 2019, so there are multiple new seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette to choose contestants from.

Demi returning to Bachelor in Paradise, according to Reality Steve

But one of the most interesting rumblings about Bachelor in Paradise season 7 is the reported addition of a BiP alum, Demi Burnett. That’s right: Reality Steve is saying that Demi is returning to Paradise for another shot of love.

In a recent blog post, Steve revealed a list of contestants he has heard are expected to be on BiP season 7, and you can see the lineup below:

  • Demi Burnett
  • Becca Kufrin
  • Tia Booth
  • Alayah Benavidez
  • Thomas Jacobs
  • James Bonsall
  • Karl Smith
  • Ed Waisbrot
  • Riley Christian

Of course, the two names on the list that are most surprising are Demi and Becca Kufrin, as Becca is a former Bachelorette. Here’s what Reality Steve has to say about the two ladies appearing on BiP season 7:

"“I think most people’s first reaction to the new names above are Becca and Demi must both be there as host/bartender or something, right? No. From everything I’m being told, both are there as contestants to date. Which makes Becca the first lead to ever go on BIP to date after they were the lead. Kinda surprising she’d do this, but I’m not her. I’m sure she’s got her reasons.”"

As fans will recall, Demi got engaged at the end of Bachelor in Paradise season 6 after a woman she was previously seeing, Kristian Haggerty, joined the show. Unfortunately, the two ladies ended their engagement a few months later. Both have since moved on, but it looks like Demi is now single and ready to mingle (again)!

We’re counting down the days until Bachelor in Paradise season 7 premieres this August, and we’ll be sure to keep you updated on everything else we hear about the cast!
