Does Katie Thurston get engaged on The Bachelorette season 17? [SPOILERS]

The Bachelorette season 17 has just only started, but if you’re anything like me, you’re already looking far ahead to that final rose ceremony. For Katie Thurston, it seems she’s got a handful of really awesome guys — along with a couple not so great ones — and so far, Greg Grippo is obviously a frontrunner. But, as I said, she has other awesome contestants who might come out of nowhere and swoop in to win Katie’s heart. We’ll just have to wait and see.

While we don’t know the final rose recipient for this season yet, we do have a little bit of intel on how the season will come to an end. If you’re here for details about what’s going on with Katie post-filming, we’re here to fill you in on all The Bachelorette spoilers we’ve got.

As I said, it’s very much Greg’s game right now just two episodes into Katie’s season, as he got the first impression rose during the premiere and then this week got the

first one-on-one

. In case you missed it, the pair had a camping/fishing date where Katie got emotional about losing her dad. During their dinner date portion of the one-on-one, Greg revealed that he also lost his dad, and the two bonded over that. As charming as Greg is as much as the two seem to have a connection, it’s hard not to root for him right now.

However, a lot can happen in the coming weeks when other connections get stronger.

Is Katie Thurston engaged?

As of right now, Reality Steve does not know who is crowned the winner in the end, but he has reported that Katie is in fact engaged. So exciting! After the first episode of the season, here’s what the TV guru wrote on his blog:

"“I guess the biggest ‘spoiler’ I have for you is this: Katie is engaged. However, I don’t know to who. I know you may ask, ‘How can you know she’s engaged but not know who to?’ Trust me, it’s possible. I’m just not gonna give up sources on that, so yeah, it’s possible to know one and not the other. Katie definitely got engaged at the end of this. And unless she breaks up before the finale, which I guess anything can happen, but she’s happy and engaged as we speak, so I’d expect that to last til the finale you’d think.”"

Who wins The Bachelorette season 17?

To recap, we don’t know who wins The Bachelorette or who Katie gets engaged to. Whether or not that lucky someone is Greg remains to be seen, but as a Katie fan, I’m so happy to hear she finds love at the end of this! After watching her on The Bachelor season 25 with Matt James, I was fully on board with her journey, and I know many people felt the same way.
