Monday night on The Bachelorette, Katie Thurston kicked off her journey as the newest Bachelorette with a memorable premiere that saw our new Bachelorette making her grand debut in an episode that did not disappoint!

During the two-hour season 17 premiere, Katie’s journey to find love began as she met the men vying for her heart this season on the show. Like most premieres, the episode was filled with over-the-top limo entrances and some rather stunning first impressions from this season’s men. Although we’re already one episode into the season, sparks already seem to be flying and we can already tell we’re in for another incredible season.

Following Monday’s new episode, fans are already eager for more of Katie and her suitors but what exactly does ABC have planned for us in terms of the show’s schedule this season?

Is The Bachelorette new tonight?

While we’ve seen The Bachelorette air twice weekly from time to time, especially around the beginning and end of the show, ABC appears to be going with a one night a week format this season. Because of this, there will not be a new episode airing this evening. Instead, ABC will be airing reruns of its various comedies and returning game show, To Tell the Truth.

Why isn’t The Bachelorette new tonight?

There will not be a new episode of The Bachelorette season 17 airing this Tuesday night due to ABC’s scheduling plans for this season. Rather than airing episodes on multiple nights of the week, the season will unfold on Monday nights.
