Tonight’s episode of The Bachelorette Season 17 introduced us to Katie Thurston again. In case you missed it, Katie was on season 25 season of The Bachelor. Matt James surprised many viewers when he sent Katie home after stating he didn’t feel a romantic connection. She quickly caught the eyes of fans by standing up to several of the bullies in the house, and now it’s her time to find love.

During tonight’s premiere, Katie revealed she comes from a divorced, low-income family, and growing up she switched schools frequently. This trickled into her love life and as a result, she never felt like she had a real partner in her relationships. Luckily, now Katie is happy with her life and not willing to settle for less in a partner.

Not only do we have a new Bachelorette, but we have two new hosts this season–former Bachelorettes Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tayshia Adams. They’ve come together and are going to help Katie on her journey to find love. The giggly pair snuck up and surprised Katie while she was waiting for the first limo entrance. Kaitlyn and Tayshia gave Katie some great advice, and then it was time to meet the guys.

Time to meet the guys of The Bachelorette Season 17

One of the funniest limo entrances was when Tre Cooper arrived in a ball pit in the back of a truck bed. He popped out of the balls and surprised Katie. Some other entertaining entrances featured an old-timey car, a moped, a guy giving her a pair of underwear, a fake fish, an RV, and a giant present. There were several sexual puns, and there was even a guy in a cat costume since Katie loves cats.

Katie had great conversations with most of the guys. The majority of the guys were friendly with each other and even played hockey together with Katie. She had a great time drinking champagne in the truck ball pit and a not-so-great time chatting in the RV. Katie even had her first kiss with Justin Glaze, an artist who painted her some stunning roses in the shape of a heart.

Greg received the first impression rose. He was so nervous around her, but she felt like there was something there behind the nerves. Greg has a big family with eight nieces and nephews. He made Katie very giggly and was thrilled when Katie gave him the rose.

The rose ceremony started after Greg received his rose. The episode began with 30 men, but only 23 remained after the ceremony. Katie sent home Jeff, Gabriel, Austin, Brandon, Landon, Marcus, and Marty.
