We’re steadily approaching another finale, Bachelor fans!
The Bachelor season 25 has been one wild ride, to say the least. With less than one week left to go, it’s undeniably been a confusing ride up to this point as well, but not just for us watching at home. In the end, finding a wife at warp speed has turned out to be a pretty conflicting process for Matt James, albeit, an eye-opening one.
In the latest episode of
The Bachelor
, we noticed more than ever that the path to televised love for Matt James might not with an engagement. No matter how rapidly the season 25 lead must choose his bride-to-be on the show, it seems clear he’s not exactly sure who or what he wants, all things considered. And who wouldn’t want more time to think it through?
With that said, Matt James made some very tough decisions on Monday night’s episode. Of course, it was
, so certain decisions seemed inevitable. Ultimately, Matt sent Bri Springs home, confirming Reality Steve’s earlier report about her fate. Understandably, many fans at home are still shaking and
about Matt’s decision, but Bri handled getting dumped after quitting her job to pursue love with an admirable amount of grace. Yes, she shed a tear or two, but Bri also seemed to accept that she wasn’t the one for Matt, because he was not the one for her either in the end.
Now down to the final two, the franchise’s lead is left to choose between Rachael Kirkconnell and Michelle Young. And from the looks of the teasers, that life-changing choice is going to be even more difficult for Matt James than most of us ever saw coming.
Spoilers ahead for The Bachelor season 25.
Who wins The Bachelor season 25?
As we’ve previously reported, Reality Steve has said that Michelle Young leaves right before the final rose ceremony, leaving only Rachael Kirkconnell to say yes to the final rose and potentially, a proposal. But according to Reality Steve, that’s not exactly what happens.
The gossip guru claims that while Matt and Rachael do leave the show together, they don’t leave engaged. While there’s no engagement ring, or promise ring, or promise to get engaged down the road, Reality Steve says Matt tells his lady love that he “can’t picture” his life without Rachael in it.
However, it seems their union might’ve turned out to be short-lived. Whether it be from the ongoing controversy surrounding Rachael Kirkconnell’s racist actions, the pressures of dating in the real world, or both, it seems these two have already called it quits. Knowing all we know now, perhaps not getting engaged was the right choice after all, even though it surely wasn’t an easy one for Matt to make.
