Considering how dramatic and borderline toxic this season of The Bachelor has been, it should come as no surprise that The Bachelor season 25‘s Women Tell All special was was plagued by dramatic confrontations and rehashing of the season’s many cringy moments.

Due to the pandemic, ABC was only able to invite a limited number of this season’s women back for the annual Women Tell All special. Because of this, there were many memorable women from Matt James‘ season of the show who were unfortunately not invited to the special which seemed to put a focus on the season’s most dramatic women (Victoria Larson, Anna Redman, MJ Snyder) and fan favorites (Abigail Heringer, Pieper James, Katie Thurston).

Also apparently on the guest list was Heather Martin, who of course attempted to crash the season and failed to secure a place in the competition. However, one would have never known Heather was in attendance…

Was Heather at the Women Tell All?

Heading into the Women Tell All special, ABC teased that 15 women from season 25 would be joining Chris Harrison to sit down and reflect upon this season. This list included the aforementioned Victoria, Anna, MJ, Abigail, Pieper, and Katie as well as fellow season 25 contestants Serena Chew, Ryan Claytor, Jessenia Cruz, Khaylah Epps, Brittany Galvin, Kit Keenan, Mari Pepin, Serena Pitt, and Chelsea Vaughn.

While these were indeed the only 15 women who received any screen time during the Women Tell All special, it appears there was one additional guest in attendance: Heather Martin.

As eagle-eyed viewers noticed during various cutaway moments from the special, there was a mysterious blonde woman sitting on the left side of the stage just behind Katie. Due to the framing of the production, the mystery woman’s face was never shown during the special only ever appearing in the corner of the screen when we’d cut away to Katie or from the back as the camera panned out.

Although ABC did its best to avoid showing the mystery woman on camera, Heather’s identity was revealed in one blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cutaway! Check out Heather Martin’s appearance on the Women Tell All special here!

Considering the women who attended the Women Tell All had to quarantine in part of the safety precautions in place, it’s absolutely puzzling to see Heather was invited and attended the special… only to be cut from the episode entirely and not even be mentioned.

One would think since Heather was in attendance, ABC would jump at the opportunity to get her thoughts on her surprise appearance or the drama from the season. However, they instead decided to erase her entirely from the special — or at least they tried their best too!

Why was Heather Martin cut from The Bachelor Women Tell All special?

To be honest, it’s unclear why ABC would invite Heather to the taping of the Women Tell All special only to cut her entirely from the episode.

Given Heather was in attendance, it seems likely ABC had planned on addressing her surprise appearance in which she showed up at the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and made a plea to join the season. Things, of course, didn’t go Heather’s way as Matt turned her away rather than giving her the chance to join the season which was already underway.

What likely happened was ABC had too many topics to cover in the two-hour special which ultimately led them to make the decision to cut the discussion of Heather’s surprise appearance.

As Heather wasn’t actually involved in the season, we can’t imagine she would have had much to add to any conversations about the other women and therefore wasn’t likely involved in much of the conversation. Because of this, it seems ABC decided to remove her from the episode entirely.
