With 11 women starting The Bachelor Season 25, Episode 7 in contention for Matt’s heart, some dramatic exits led to just four women remaining for home town dates next week

The cruel, vindictive women we’d grown so accustomed to seeing so far in The Bachelor Season 25 were back in full force Monday night.

We’ll, obviously, touch upon that drama in a bit, but if Episode 6 served as the underhand softball pitch, Episode 7 was the wooden bat striking the pitch and sending it 450 yards to the center-field grandstands.

If the bullying drama wasn’t enough, a lot of women left Nemacolin on The Bachelor Season 25, Episode 7. Two weeks, two heartbreaking exits for Bachelor Nation favorites.

We said goodbye to Chelsea and Serena C., and Heather, I guess, after the first rose ceremony. We also had two goodbyes during the group date, one after a one-on-one, and had one exit after the final rose ceremony to narrow our field to four.

The Bachelor Season 25, Episode 7 “Token Drama” moments

Maybe I didn’t watch as hard or there just wasn’t as much token drama, but I only found a few direct instances:

  1. After Heather’s dramatic appearance and conversation, Matt James retreated to his usual spot just outside the front doors of the house. As he’s standing there, desperately pondering what to do with Hannah B’s best friend, Chris Harrison strolls up and asks if Matt is OK. Of course, Chris to the rescue. “I just need a second,” Matt said, staring off into the distance.
  2. After everyone’s talked to Matt during the group date, some of the women are discussing the importance of getting this final group date rose to secure a spot in the home town dates next week. Michelle stresses the importance of the rose, just as Matt walks up after his chat with Kit. “Oh, we were just talking about you!” Michelle said, laughing. Impeccable timing, Matt.

I know, I know. The token moments were far better last week, but like Matt, maybe now isn’t the time for token gestures. As some of the women found out Monday night.
