Going into this week of The Bachelor season 25, we knew one woman would most likely be eliminated in one of the opening scenes. In case you missed it, episode 5 ended with lead Matt James sending contestants Jessenia Cruz and MJ Snyder on a two-on-one date of sorts, arriving at the cocktail party before the rose ceremony early to try and solve the ongoing drama.

Fortunately for all of us watching at home, Matt said he could not give MJ a rose, and then walked her out. After all the extreme amount of cattiness this season, I think I speak for everyone when I say watching MJ being sent home made me sigh with relief. But as you’d expect with this show, a new villain has seemingly emerged:

Serena Chew

. She totally went at Katie Thurston during tonight’s episode, and fans definitely didn’t appreciate it.

Beyond the drama, Matt James had one-on-one dates with

Pieper James

and

Katie Thurston

, and ended up giving the group rose date to Michelle Young.

Heather Martin

from Colton Underwood’s season of

The Bachelor

also showed up, which was just weird. There will surely be tons of tears next week because of the new addition.

So, who went home in week 6? Keep reading to find out!

Who was kicked off The Bachelor this week?

  • MJ
  • Magi
  • Ryan
  • Brittany
  • Katie

Yes, you read that right–Katie was actually sent home tonight. Although she had an awesome one-on-one date with Matt which even included an appearance from Tyler Cameron, the connection just wasn’t there. During their dinner, Matt explained that he had stronger feelings for the other women in the house, and that he couldn’t move forward with Katie.

What a shock! But if you’ve been keeping up with Reality Steve’s spoilers, you no doubt saw this one coming. We’re sad to see Katie go and hope to see her on our screens again as soon as possible!

Next. Here’s who the next Bachelorette will be, according to Reality Steve [SPOILERS]. dark

Keep watching The Bachelor season 25 with Matt James every Monday night on ABC.
