The Bachelor Season 25: Why is Heather Martin on this season?

Heather Martin, a contestant from Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor, is to return to this season to find Matt James?!

WOW. An interesting plot twist on The Bachelor Season 25! 

So for those of you who may not remember who Heather Martin is, let me break it down for you.

Martin was first introduced as “Never Been Kissed” on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor. Eventually, she ended up having her first kiss with Underwood on their one-on-one date, however left before hometown dates.

“Colton, you’re something so special but right now I just don’t think that it’s fair to you to take you to my hometown if I don’t know 100% confidently that I’m ready for that,” Martin tells Underwood on his season. And in true dramatic fashion, we see Martin ride away post-break-up on a train, as Underwood looks on.

According to ABC entertainment executive, Rob Mills, the reason why Martin returns to this season was that she felt like Matt James might be her husband. As we saw earlier in this season’s teaser, Martin arrives in a limo, clearly surprising The Bachelor host Chris Harrison, James, and other contestants.

“Heather what are you doing here?! You could honestly destroy this whole thing for Matt,” Harrison states to Martin as she gets out of the limo.

Then cut to 1:40 where we see James and Martin together. “Heather?”, James states confused, “I feel like I’m in a dream right now.”

There are some theories also roaming around about how it might have been gal-pal Hannah Brown who helped orchestrate this whole thing since she’s friends also with Matt James.

Only time will tell what is really going on here, but we sure don’t mind all the drama!
