On the latest episode of The Bachelor season 25, MJ Snyder got a lot of attention. Unfortunately, most of that attention wasn’t in her favor.
Multiple contestants had approached
about the toxic environment developing in the house throughout the season. And so, Matt decided it was time to have a serious talk with the remaining
in Week 5. He let it be known that anyone who belittled the other contestants to build themselves up was not the kind of woman he was looking for. Naturally, everyone seemed to take his words to heart.
When they learned Anna Redman was sent home for wrongly calling
an escort, many contestants began doing damage control, apologizing to each other left and right, seemingly whether they were sincerely sorry or not.
With tensions high and Victoria Larson finally eliminated for being a quintessential mean girl, some started calling MJ the next antagonist. Just like that, MJ seemingly became the new target and began doing damage control of her own. Matt and MJ had a tough conversation after Jessenia Cruz accused MJ of causing trouble, claiming she called the contestants “varsity vs the JV.”
MJ Snyder denied all of it and said she wouldn’t stand for the slander. From there, a heated argument between her and Jessenia ensued.
As Reality Steve notes, MJ can actually be heard saying “varsity team” early on in the episode, even if she was “just kidding” as she later claimed. The ongoing drama that Matt attempted to squash only continued from there. While some of the women are questioning MJ’s character, namely Jessenia, MJ said that no one really knows who she is.
MJ was certainly stirring the pot, but since Matt doesn’t see what happens in the house when he’s not there, he didn’t have any evidence. At the end of this week’s episode, Matt invited both MJ and Jessenia to the cocktail party early so he could figure out the truth. And it looks like only one of them will be moving forward.
When is MJ eliminated on The Bachelor?
As of right now, Reality Steve says he’s not sure how far the 23-year-old contestant from Hudson, Ohio makes it on The Bachelor season 25. However, we have now witnessed how quickly Matt James will send someone home–even outside of rose ceremonies–if he believes they are antagonizing other women in the house.
So we’ll have to tune in on Monday night to find out if MJ Snyder will be going home in Week 6, or will stay a bit longer.
