Expectedly, there’s tons of speculation going around about who ultimately wins Matt James’ season of The Bachelor. Many have their money on Rachael Kirkconnell, controversy aside. It appears Rachael and Matt’s relationship is progressing each week, so it’s entirely possible that this 24-year-old contestant from Cumming, Georgia is proposed to at the end of this. So let’s get into spoiler territory.
*Spoilers ahead forDuring the latest episode in Week 5, Matt and Rachael finally had their one-on-one date. By the end of it, they surprisingly both admitted to falling in love with each other. Most notably, it seems based on previous conversations that they were both falling in love for the first time, which is a pretty big deal. With that in mind, it’s becoming tough for many to imagine that the graphic designer
doesn’t
win Matt’s heart in the end–because it seems like she already has.
Does Rachael win The Bachelor?
According to Reality Steve, Rachael Kirkconnell definitely wins The Bachelor season 25. However, it apparently doesn’t play out the way we might expect.
As we previously reported, it’s been said by Reality Steve that Matt sends Michelle Young home early, rather than subjecting her to a final rose ceremony rejection. Assuming Rachael makes it to the final ceremony as well, what does that mean for her fate? Prepare yourself for a potentially gigantic spoiler, Bachelor fans.
Reality Steve claims he’s gotten confirmation that Matt does not propose to Rachael, but his sources say she is the final contestant left. Even though they don’t become engaged, the TV guru reports that they are still together today.
So is this true? Most likely. Whether or not Matt James proposes to Rachael Kirkconnell remains unconfirmed by ABC, but based on Reality Steve’s column, it looks like the contestant does ultimately win Matt over.
With that said, Matt appears to be making other connections with contestants on the show, so who knows what will actually happen next? Of course, there’s only one way to find out.
Be sure to catch The Bachelor season 25 every Monday at 8:00 p.m. EST on ABC.
