The Bachelor Season 25, Episode 4: Best and worst moments
By Julia Wagner
The Bachelor Season 25 aired another episode of the season last night, featuring these best and worst moments!
The Bachelor Season 25 returned for another episode this week, and it was as dramatic as ever! We picked up right after Sarah Trott left, and her departure continued to create the necessary drama in the house when Katie Thurston “shut down” Victoria Larson for continuing to trash talk Sarah.
Did Victoria’s reference to being shut down during “group conversation” remind anyone else of Lord of the Flies, in which only the person holding the conch shell can speak?
We also saw our Bachelor newbie Matt James struggle to get past the departure while attempting to date his remaining 100 women.
But little did we know, more drama awaited! The producers, in their ever-enduring wisdom, decided to throw a few more girls into the snake pit of the house.
For better or for worse, the arrival of five new women leads me right into what I consider the best and the worst moments of the night!
The Bachelor Season 25, Episode 4: Best moment: Michelle and Matt
Michelle, the teacher from Edina, Minnesota, definitely gave me one of the best moments of the night during her conversation with Matt. It started out great when Matt questioned if she had a Minnesota accent (as I have one myself, I can relate!), and it got even better when the two sat down for a chat inside.
Michelle was so hilarious and seemed to really bring out a relaxed, normal side of Matt. I love that she immediately referenced the possibility of people not being themselves in that environment. I know that my worst fear about going on the show would be that the person would act differently once back in the real world!
Matt seemed so sincere around Michelle, and the BEST moment of their conversation was when he unabashedly said, “It’s hard because a lot of what we do isn’t normal.” Matt’s newness to the franchise is so refreshing. He really just seems like a normal guy who isn’t afraid to say that this is an abnormal situation. Refreshing, I say!
Here’s hoping things continue to go well with Matt and Michelle, and that they one day get a chance to “breed well,” as Michelle would say.
