War of Roses: The Bachelor Season 25, Episode 4
Another week of roses on The Bachelor Season 25! Who got one? And who was left standing sans rose? Let’s discuss!
Another drama-filled week of The Bachelor Season 25 is done, and we are here to discuss all of the women who received date roses. Each week we come back to see what women Matt James decided to give roses to and go over all of the factors from each date.
Last week, we saw two date roses given out. Rachel Kirkconnell received the group date rose from Matt and Serena Pitt got the third one-on-one rose. In my eyes, both women are front runners of this season, so when Matt gave them his roses, I wasn’t surprised.
This week we saw a few chances for all of the women to snag those precious date roses, with 2 full group dates and 1 one-on-one date. In the end, it was Chelsea Vaughn, Bri Springs, and newcomer Michelle Young who came out on top.
I’m here to discuss if they deserved those date roses due to their raw connection with Matt, or if the rose was a little bit less meaningful. Let’s jump in and break down the dates one by one, starting with the first group date on this week’s episode of The Bachelor Season 25.
The Bachelor Season 25, Episode 4: Group Date #1
The episode started off with the backlash from last week when Sarah Trott told Matt she would be leaving the show. There was supposed to be a day portion to this group date, but it was cut short because Matt needed some time to digest the news he got from Sarah. In spite of what happened, the women and Matt got the whole night to spend with one another, trying to make their relationships grow.
Chelsea Vaughn’s conversation with Matt stood out to me during this date. The two seem to have good chemistry and Matt could not take his eyes off of her. And really, her conversation was the only substantial one shown. We did see Abigail Heringer and MJ Snyder speak to Matt but only for a short time. I think what happened earlier that day played a big part in this short date.
Nonetheless, Chelsea received the rose from Matt during this group date. To keep it short, like this date, I like Chelsea and I think she is a good match for Matt. She seems down to earth and true to herself. She is absolutely stunning and totally rocks her beautifully shaved head. As for her receiving the date rose, I think Matt made a good decision. The date was a bit lake luster, but there is more to look forward to.
The Bachelor Season 25, Episode 4: Group Date #2
We got to see another familiar face for this week’s group date, former Bachelor Ben Higgins. I love Ben, he’s probably my favorite Bachelor ever. I think he is so sweet, real, honest and so darn CUTE! I think Matt has a good chance at a fun day having Ben by his side, but it won’t go without noticing the five new women who showed up the night prior. We know some of them are going to be on this date, so prepare for the drama.
The date opened with a fun fall obstacle course. Mari Pepin, Bri Springs, Abigail Heringer, Magi Tareke, Anna Redman, Victoria Larson, and newbies Brittany Galvin, Ryan Claytor, Catalina Moralesall got to participate. The day portion was super cute, with all the women struggling to come in first place at the competition. We got to see an adventurous side to all of the girls while they kayaked, dug through leaves, and sprinted for the finish. Mari ended up winning the competition but didn’t get any special rewards, like normal.
One of the new girls from the night prior seemed to catch Matt’s eye during the evening portion of this date. But it was the limo exit, where Brittany Galvin walked up to Matt and kissed him, that really got his attention. She said she wanted to make up for a lost time, but it rubbed the original women the wrong way. This grudge was brought into the group date the next evening. The whole rumor about her being a “sex worker” was brought up by Anna Redman in front of all the other women, and the night started to get really messy. Though this was never brought to Matt’s attention on the date.
One of my season favorites, Bri Springs, had a great conversation with Matt during this date as well. Every week their relationship seems to progress and I can totally see their chemistry from my couch, lol. I think they are such a beautiful couple and I really like them together. Like I have said prior, I think Bri will be around until the end.
As the night came to an end, I was unsure who would be getting the group date rose. Was it going to go to the newcomer Brittany, who really caught Matt’s eye with her boldness, or would one of my season favorites get it again? Well, it was my season favorite, Bri. Another great choice for Matt, as he has made it in the past already. I think with the reassurance of date roses, Bri could have a great chance to go all the way. And I think that would be great for Matt!
