The Bachelor Season 25, Episode 4 recap: Five new women arrive to win Matt’s heart
Last night’s episode of The Bachelor Season 25 began with a new batch of women showing up to meet Matt James. The current contestants were profoundly offended and didn’t give a warm welcome. The new housemates included Brittany, Michelle, Ryan, Kim, and Catalina. Victoria was openly mean to the latest arrivals and even took Catalina’s crown, stating that she was the only queen.
Khaylah, Kaili, and Kim didn’t receive roses that night. Four out of the five new women received roses. Matt finished with more women that night than he started with that day.
The next day, Bachelor alum Ben Higgins showed up to give Matt advice. Ben threw a Fall in Love Festival for the group date where the ladies participated in entertaining fall-themed competitions. Magi wound up trapped in a pond rowing a giant pumpkin.
Later that night, Anna spread a rumor that Brittany was an escort. She confronted Brittany in front of everyone, and Brittany denied the claim. Brittany was hurt, and the bullying continued during the remainder of last night’s episode.
The Bachelor Season 25 may have a new frontrunner
The newbie Michelle shocked many by receiving this week’s date card. The pair had an adrenaline-filled time ziplining and riding in a hot air balloon. They grew close talking about Michelle’s career as a teacher. Matt shared that he felt closer to Michelle than some of the women who had been there for several weeks.
The next group date was a boxing competition with special guest Mia St. John. The ladies trained with Matt and Mia before fighting one another. Bachelor alum Wells Adams helped Chris Harrison judge the matches. The fights were brutal, but things calmed down a little bit during the after-party.
At the end of the episode, Katie decided to fill Matt in on the house drama. She explained the constant bullying from the “OG” women towards the new arrivals. Matt said he would address the bullying the next day.
The next episode of The Bachelor Season 25 is Monday, Feb. 1st, on ABC at 8 PM EST!
