As far as celebrity breakups go, Clare Crawley and Dale Moss splitting up wasn’t all too shocking for fans of the franchise. As we all know, the pair met on The Bachelorette season 16, fell in love seemingly at first sight, and got engaged just weeks in. Their whirlwind romance was surprising, and though we were rooting for them to last for the long haul, they announced they were going their separate ways this week.

. And as for what went wrong with Clare and Dale, some juicy reports have been coming out. For instance,

E! News

reported that according to sources, Dale was cheating on Clare with a woman named Eleonora Srugo from New York.

Those are some pretty serious accusations. An insider for E! News told the publication that, “Dale would always reassure Clare that it was nothing serious,” and apparently, “multiple people have told Clare that Dale was parading around NYC with this girl.”

And now, the woman in question is speaking out. TV guru Reality Steve reached out to Eleonora on social media, asking about the recent reports. He posted a tweet with a screenshot of their conversation, writing, “E! News posted this story a few hrs ago claiming multiple sources were telling them Eleonora Srugo is the woman Dale was cheating on Clare with. I reached out to her via IG for comment since there was a lot of he said, she said going on.”

According to the screenshot, which you can see below, Eleonora told Reality Steve that she has been friends with Dale for years and that they have never been romantic. She concluded her message by saying, “Any claims that we have dated or were romantically involved are blatant lies.”

It looks like fans don’t know what to believe when it comes to these cheating accusations. Some unfortunately predicted that Dale wouldn’t be as dedicated to his relationship with Clare as he seemed on The Bachelorette, while others don’t think his friend Eleonora would have reason to lie. At the end of the day, we don’t know what really went down. We’re sure both Dale and Clare are going through a tough time right now, and we hope infidelity didn’t lead to their split.
