Will Jason from The Bachelorette go after Clare Crawley after her split from Dale Moss?

While it might not have been entirely shocking, all ears were perked up yesterday at the news that Clare Crawley and Dale Moss officially called it quits. The former Bachelorette famously fell in love at first sight with Dale, and the pair got engaged and left the show just weeks in. Such a whirlwind!

, and she also successfully got engaged in the end. But now that Clare and Dale didn’t end up working out, fans can’t help but wonder if any of the other

contestants

were actually right for Clare, instead of Dale.

One person I’m particularly curious about is Jason Foster. Right off the bat, you could tell the contestant was in it for the long haul with Clare, and was falling head over heels pretty fast. The two memorably had an intense one-on-one date, in which Clare pretty much pressured Jason to open up about his past traumas. It was hard to watch, to say the least.

Nevertheless, Jason was all in, and when it came time for Tayshia to come into the picture after Clare’s departure, the former NFL player couldn’t stick around. He decided to self-eliminate because of his lingering feelings for Clare.

So of course, the question is: Will Jason go after Clare now that she’s single? A quick look at his Instagram page will tell you he hasn’t been active this year, so he likely won’t be making any grand gestures on social media like former Bachelorette contestant Spencer Robertson recently did.

Perhaps Jason reached out to Clare privately about the split, or perhaps he hasn’t even heard the news yet at all. Everything is up for speculation at this point, but I can’t imagine Jason would just miss this opportunity to possibly reconnect with his old flame, especially if he still has those feelings for her.

We’re sure Clare Crawley is nowhere near ready to move on (even if fans are shipping her and Peter Weber), but this “what if?” scenario is hard to ignore. If Clare and Jason pop up on your Instagram feeds as a brand-new couple, don’t say I didn’t tell you so!
