Clare Crawley sends love and support to Tayshia Adams ahead of The Bachelorette finale
By FS staff
Before The Bachelorette finale last night, Clare Crawley took a moment to send some love to Tayshia Adams and the fans on social media. And we’re totally here for it.
On Instagram, the former Bachelorette posted a casual video, sitting on her couch. She let her followers know she’d just returned from the sauna, was planning to make dinner, and then excitedly announced she was also preparing to watch the season 16 finale.
In case you missed it, Clare Crawley was initially selected as the season 16 Bachelorette, before love at first sight with contestant Dale Moss completely flipped the script.
Making Bachelor Nation history, Clare left the show with Dale, engaged, just weeks after beginning her journey. It was controversial, to say the least, but it seemed to many that fate might’ve intervened, especially when both Clare and Dale said they believed they were soulmates and professed their love.
Scrambling for a plan B, producers brought in Tayshia Adams as Crawley’s replacement and that too seemed like fate. Flash forward to last night, and it appears Clare is still very happy with her decision to leave the show and just as happy for Tayshia’s amazing journey.
In the video, Clare says of Tayshia, “I know that she has put her heart and her soul into this, and she’s had such, such an amazing group of guys this entire time.” And if anyone would know that without a doubt, it’s definitely Clare.
You can see a repost of the video on Reddit here.
The 39-year-old former Bachelorette goes on to say in the video that whoever Tayshia ends up with and whatever the ending turns out to be, she “really, truly” does hope she finds happiness, explaining that “everybody is so deserving of it.”
Finally, Clare gushes, “I really do hope she finds her person and she has the beginning of an amazing love story.”
In the end, both season 16 Bachelorettes seemed to find what they were looking for thanks to their special, televised journeys to true love. Congrats, ladies!
