In The Bachelorette world, a lot can change in one week—especially if there are two episodes. This week on The Bachelorette Season 16 boasted four hours of programming and Tayshia Adams swiftly cut her group from eight men to three in what felt like the blink of an eye.

Warning: Spoilers from The Bachelorette Season 16, Episodes 10 & 11 ahead!

Aside from several broken hearts, this week on The Bachelorette Season 16 featured four “hometown” dates and a questionable Men Tell All special. Given the ongoing pandemic, we weren’t sure how hometowns would play out this season.

Worry not, the devil works hard, but Bachelorette production works harder. They magically brought in a few family members for each of the top four and had them quarantine (I hope) just in time for filming.

Before we dig into the rankings and ‘Vegas’ odds, let’s say goodbye to the men who went home: Blake Moynes (finally), King Riley (shockingly), Bennett (not-so-shockingly), and Noah (not-so-shockingly) did not make the cut and Tayshia did not meet their families. The biggest surprise to me here was Riley.

I truly thought he had a shot at hometowns, but after Tayshia sent Blake Moynes home on their one-on-one, Tayshia came in to pull Riley aside out of nowhere. She said that it just wasn’t there for her and that it took too long for him to open up, just days after he poured his heart out to her. I wasn’t particularly thrilled about this one. In my opinion, Riley should be a top contender for the next season of The Bachelor.

That left us with our top four, who had their “hometowns” this week. Brendan, Zac C., Ivan, and Ben. As you can see, I’ve listed Ben last. That’s because he got the boot. He had a terrible time opening up and using his words to express his feelings. He told the audience that he was in love with Tayshia, but he was unable to share his feelings with her and she sent him packing with almost no remorse. I think Ben has a lot of work to do on ~Ben, but with that said, he should also be a top contender for the next season of The Bachelor.

And that takes us to this week’s version of the official Bachelor Bob Power Rankings and ‘Vegas’ odds.
