The Bachelorette’s Ed Waisbrot and Jay Smith enjoyed a bros trip to the beach, taking in the Miami sun and showing off their chiseled physiques.

Jay Smith and Ed Waisbrot might not have found love on The Bachelorette, but that doesn’t mean the pair didn’t find some form of meaningful connection during their time on the show!

While we never quite got the chance to see Jay and Ed connect often during their time on the show, it seems the pair managed to spark up quite the bromance between competing for Tayshia Adams‘ affections.

It’s not too surprising given both Ed and Jay happen to hail from Florida and both happen to be in the health and fitness industry — what with Ed working as a health care salesman and Jay as a fitness director. The shared similarities likely made it easy for the pair to spark up a connection and build a friendship that is now flourishing outside the confines of the La Quinta Resort & Club where season 16 was filmed.

Ed Waisbrot and Jay Smith puts defined abs and biceps on full display

With their time on the show over, Jay Smith and Ed Waisbrot decided to reconnect to have a bit of fun in the sun with Fort Lauderdale based Jay taking a short road trip down to Miami to catch up with Ed.

“Not as fun as a night with Chris but when Ed finds a babysitter for Carlos, we paddle,” Jay captioned the Instagram post with a nod to Ed’s memorable exchange with Chris Harrison as and time with baby Carlos on the show.

Clearly enjoying the beautiful Miami weather, Ed and Jay took to the beach where it was sun’s out, guns out for the pair who proudly put their defined abs and buff biceps on full display. Giving the camera their best “tough guy” pose, Ed and Jay posed shirtless alongside one another in the warm Florida waters and sunny weather with drinks in hand, ballcaps backward, and stylish shades.

The photo quickly turned up the heat on Instagram and even caught the attention of fellow season 16 contestant Chasen Nick, who praised the pair for giving America what they want.
