Newly dubbed the villain of season 16, many watching–or right there with him–aren’t sure how to feel about The Bachelorette contestant Bennett Jordan.
When it comes to his relationship with other contestants such as Noah Erb, he’s definitely not the nicest guy. Of course, Tayshia Adams is a different story. Still, some fans suspect that while Bennett might not be the nicest, he’s likely the richest. So when Bennett declared in last night’s episode that he’s “not privileged” and actually has had a hard life, viewers were left confused.
According to where he went to school and where he currently is employed, Bennett seems to be very privileged. Not to mention, he drops most of the clues that he’s wealthy on his own, in nearly every single episode of The Bachelorette.
Does Bennett from The Bachelorette have money?
Bennett is not shy about his appreciation for “the finer things.” For the most part, that hasn’t seemed to bother Tayshia. At one point, she even said part of what she liked about Bennett was that he was “boujiee,” and laughed it off, explaining that she thought herself a little bit “boujiee,” too.
If you’ve been tuning in every week, then you are well aware of how often he throws around the fact that
. Time after time, Bennett seems to use this little factoid as one of his main selling points, seemingly claiming it makes him a superior catch when compared to the other guys.
As Hollywood Life notes, Bennett Jordan graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government. Name dropping an Ivy League school that could cost upwards of $60,000 a year to attend doesn’t exactly say he’s wealthy, but it does at least imply it. And all things considered, he probably is.
These days, Bennett works in finance in the Big Apple. As noted by Hollywood Life, he’s been with Whitney Partners in New York City since 2016, working as their Managing Director since 2019. You can check his impressive resume on LinkedIn here.
Prior to his role with Whitney, he had a number of other lucrative gigs in finance.
In other words, all signs point to money in the bank for “boujiee” Bennett.
