The Bachelorette fans want Joe Park as the next Bachelor after Matt James

Bachelor Nation is paging Dr. Joe! On social media, fans of The Bachelorette are “campaigning” for season 16 contestant Joe Park to become the next Bachelor, following Matt James‘ run, of course.

Joe Park for Bachelor?

On Reddit, the fans seem to be keeping a very close watch on if and when their newly realized Bachelor dreams will become a televised reality. One user wrote, “the ‘joe for bachelor’ campaign is gaining traction!!!” And they’re not wrong.

Another said, “I am so here for this honestly! Kind, smart, funny, handsome as hell – what else could you ask for? #Joe4Bachelor.” Good question.

As noted in Bustle,  Dr. Joe is an anesthesiologist from the Big Apple, who spent “most of 2020 fighting coronavirus on the front lines in New York City.” He’s also a COVID-19 survivor. And according to Marie Claire, Park was voted as one of the Top 20 Most Eligible Doctors in NY, prior to coming on the show.

You can check out his swoon-worthy Instagram here. In his bio, Joe Park describes himself not only as an anesthesiologist, but as an ice cream lover as well. How sweet. Oh, and did I mention, he’s a surfer?

A plethora of Bachelorette fans say they believe that adorable Joe didn’t and doesn’t get the attention he truly deserves on the show. One Reddit user responded to the post with, “it really upsets me that he’s the total package and yet barely getting any screen time. :(”

And many replied, saying they completely agree that producers, Tayshia Adams, and Clare Crawley all weren’t giving Joe the screen time he should be getting.

So what will it take to make Joe Park the next Bachelor? Hopefully, not very much. Many say there’s no reason he shouldn’t be. One fan summed up his “campaign” pretty well, writing, “Honestly, he is so crazy attractive to me, I don’t understand how you can swoon after Chasen when there is a super funny, very smart, accomplished, good-looking man like Dr. (!!!!!) Joe right in front of you?!”

No matter where the contestants truly stand on becoming the next Bachelor after Matt, Dr. Joe certainly has my vote!
