Doing a double take!

The Bachelorette fans are currently convinced that contestant Brendan Morais is the spitting image of two very well known celebrities. On Reddit, one fan hilariously pointed out the resemblance, writing, “Brendan is the love child of James Franco and Jay Baruchel.”

They weren’t alone in this doppelgänger theory, and you probably will see where they’re coming from the second you see the side by side photos of Brendan, James, and Jay for yourself.

In the comments section of the Reddit post, many replied that Brendan’s combo resemblance to the mega famous actors was “spot on.” And frankly, I’m having a hard time saying it isn’t. It really, really is, isn’t it? Feast your eyes on the uncanny comparison that Bachelor Nation fans still can’t stop making and decide for yourself.

Some fans are saying that even if the “spot on” celebrity resemblance doesn’t win him brownie points with the latest Bachelorette Tayshia Adams, it could certainly help him land a different kind of role in front of the camera someday. And maybe it could.

After all, it’s not a totally far-fetched theory nor is it bad news for Brendan, especially since he’s already an aspiring actor.

One person wrote, “Brendan gonna be the first bachelor to land a Judd Apatow movie after his season.” Someone else replied, “I feel like he could be the long lost 3rd Franco brother. He mad hot. But hopefully not problematic.” Hopefully not, indeed.

No matter your first impression of Brendan on season 16 of The Bachelorette, this celebrity comparison is definitely intended to be a compliment. I wonder if Tayshia agrees.
