Filming for The Bachelor season 25 is well underway. Now, Chris Harrison is giving us those eagerly awaited “what to expect” breadcrumbs from the upcoming cycle with Matt James, reports Entertainment Tonight.
Harrison also dished on how James’ season compares to Clare Crawley’s season of The Bachelorette.
According to Harrison, things are “going great” this go-around. The longtime Bachelor host revealed to the publication that he thinks Matt James is “absolutely awesome,” and said that he’s eager for everyone else to finally watch the season.
Chris didn’t tell us exactly why, but he did say that whatever they’re doing on The Bachelor these days, the host with the most behind-the-scenes intel claimed, “it’s working.”
“It’s the blue print and the formula we used to shoot Clare’s season, and is working out perfectly,” he explained. “I can tell you it’s working, it’s successful and — knock on wood — it’ll continue to be successful.”
Due to the continued need for social distancing, Matt’s season of The Bachelor and Clare Crawley’s season of The Bachelorette both required filming to occur at one location.
As noted Entertainment Tonight, things haven’t gone exactly as planned the whole time, with production having to relocate from La Quinta Resort & Club in Palm Springs to Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Pennsylvania.
This time around, however, there is one very big difference for the show’s lead. So far, it looks like Matt James will remain his season’s only Bachelor. And if he’s absolutely as “awesome” as Chris Harrison seems to think, it wouldn’t surprise us in the slightest if he’s the first, last, and only guy winning more than a few hearts this season.
But we’ll find out soon enough.
The Bachelor season 25 does not have a premiere date yet.
